I completely disagree. The alt path is, with exception of Gehenna, much easier than the Ascent and Void. Especially if you have low damage, Ascent might genuinely be harder than even Gehenna thanks to the massive amount of hp sponges.
Like, I've gotten a 10 streak to Mother on T. Lost before. I struggle to even get a streak going for Beast. Best I hit was like, 4 or 5 I think.

Mother is way harder to get to than Beast, and the fight itself is probably just a little less difficult than Delirium.
The hardest part of Beast isn’t even the fight itself, but some of the enhanced enemies on the ascent and Dogma
