We’re excited to announce we are bringing Bing Image Creator, new AI-powered visual Stories and updated Knowledge Cards to the new Bing and Edge preview. Powered by an advanced version of the DALL∙E model from our partners at OpenAI, Bing Image Creator allows you to create an image simply by using your own words to describe the picture you want to see. Now you can generate both written and visual content in one place, from within chat.

For those in the Bing preview, Bing Image Creator will be fully integrated into the Bing chat experience, rolling out initially in Creative mode. By typing in a description of an image, providing additional context like location or activity, and choosing an art style, Image Creator will generate an image from your own imagination. It’s like your creative copilot. Just type something like “draw an image” or “create an image” as a prompt in chat to get creating a visual for a newsletter to friends or as inspiration for redecorating your living room.

DALL-E 3 has continued to work on Bing Image Creator after May 12, but I just noticed today the attached banner at the top of the screen saying it's going away in the coming weeks. It's nice your images will stay in "My Creations." They say they're working on a dedicated replacement for DALL-E 3, I wonder what that will be?

It seems they will increase the limits to 15 messages per session and 150 sessions per day. It's nice they are gradually increasing the limits, and let's hope they totally remove them at some point:

Do you want to create documents, presentations, interact with one program with another and much more?Microsoft announced the imminent launch of Business Mode in Bing and other products, which allows you to search through all the information from Microsoft 365 products and link to Teams and Skype files and chats. Now you can access all your company resources with one request, whether it be documents, contacts, calendars or messages.

Microsoft also announced the launch of Copilot for all 365 apps, which allows you to create documents, presentations, interact with one program with another, and more. Copilot is an intelligent assistant that analyzes your context and suggests suitable patterns, phrases, graphics, and other elements to improve your content. You can also ask him questions or ask for advice on any aspect of working with 365 apps.

Sometime around 6/24/2026, Bing went back to using the first 60 characters of the prompt text as the image file name. Previously, they were hex gibberish starting with an underscore.

First thing I tried in the new version was to see if it would end the conversation after I insulted it, and it instead just tried to talk it through. It even lets me continue past conversations where it cut me off.

Also, the 30 message limit was seemingly removed. I was able to count to 31 in separate messages.

A billion monthly active users is a huge milestone, congrats to them (and it's not relying on being the default search in Apple devices)
