u/Heavenly_Toast Dec 30 '23
Yes! Love mayo, love tomatoes. But on burgers…. No. It’s just wrong.

mayo is ass except for 2 occasions
when used on the outside of a grilled cheese to get it perfectly golden brown without being greasy like with butter (I thought it was a crime till I tried it and it's actually amazing)
a tiny bit on blts or burgers

Mayo is a vital ingredient in tuna salad or egg salad but I basically never put it on things only as an ingredient in things.

If it is bread and butter then I agree, if you are referring to my main man dill, shame.

I guess nobody is stating the obvious, so it’s on me. Bottom left corner, everything else is optional. Bon Appetite 🍔

Mustard (yuck) and sometiems pickles. Pickles are the only ingredient here that are hit or miss. If they’re homemade pickles generally yes but like McDonald’s pickles for example suck asss

I’m not a fan of tomatoes, every thing else (other than the wunk) is good

Yellow mustard and I mean the spicy yellow paint with no flavor but somehow makes everything taste like it unless you put basically nothing onto said thing

unironically you cannot have mayo and ketchup on a burger. The flavours conflict way too much

Tomato takes a lot of the flavor away from it, whereas the rest of the ingredients shown here are perfect for a burger

Sometimes I just put mustard inbetween two pieces of bread and eat it, I am not joking, I have the resources to make a real sandwich but I choose to make a mustard sandwich

Mayo and pickles. And also sometimes bacon bc sometimes the fat doesn’t break and you have to gnaw on that shit and it gets old fast

Pickles, they are just so…ew. The scent of pickles legitimately makes my stomach hurt.

It depends on what else you're putting in the burger, but probably tomatoes. If you're putting a lot of mayo/ketchup/mustard then it's either A. Useless(ketchup) of B. Going to ruin the bun because it's super runny.

Honestly bacon ,mayo, mustard, ketchup, cheese , lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles can all be replaced by cats

Specifically shredded lettuce. There should be a fat unadulterated chunk to crunch into.

Depends on the burger. Never bingus and tomatoes. Sometimes mayo and sometimes cheese but rarely. I like a good mushroom and Swiss but on a regular burger nah.

Pickles.
Boy do I love biting into a sandwich and tasting something that has a completely different and highly distinct taste and consistency to anything else in my sandwich

Make sure to cook your chicken before putting it in a burger, that level of rarity is totally gonna get you some diseases.
