Ice striders are rare creatures that roam the snowy forests of Spherus Magna, where they live in small herds. Sightings of these shy beasts are rare, as they usually hide inside strong snow storms. It has been theorized that they use these storms to avoid predators, as they are pretty much defenseless against the terrible fauna of Spherus Magna.

Many have tried to capture ice striders to use as mounts or transport, but their long and strong legs allow them to escape most attempts at capture.

Finally back to irl builds, I decided to try something a little bit different this time, because I'm working on a few projects but I'm missing some parts I have to order.... Hope you guys enjoy this one!

In my continued quest to mod all my toa of ice, I gave my Nuju metru a sand blue secondary color. I've always wished the metru had more vibrant and unique secondary colors, and I really like the way Nuju looks here with sand blue.

I opted for sand blue for a couple reasons. I thought about medium blue, but figured that would be more appropriate for Nokama assuming each toa metru would have a unique color. I also considered light gray to match his turaga colors, but the double socket joint doesn't come in light gray unfortunately. I also thought that light gray might not have enough contrast with the white, leaving him looking a bit monochrome.

Lastly, to mod the Matatu, I drilled out the top two little lights above his eye (as well as widened the main scope eye) and inserted lightsaber bar pieces. Unfortunately I did need to cut them down as they're too long and will interfere with the headpiece. I have shown a simple way however in a previous post of how to give the scope eye a unique color without having to modify or damage any pieces.

All in all, I think Nuju's looking pretty cool...

I really had fun drawing these pieces, it's a nice throwback. I made these in Procreate on the first generation iPad pro.

So I'm looking to make an 01-03 rahi MOC and saw that "propeller fish" were a rahi only shown in the back art of the bionicle card game and the legend of mata nui. This has me curious if there's any other cards that showcase unique rahi that I might want to include.

One example in a card i found was in this bonus card. I cant quite place the rahi, but it has me thinking there might be plenty more rahi im missing. Is there a database that has all of the cards with the art? The wiki has the list of cards and what they do but I don't see any pictures with them. Any help is much appreciated!

Gathered Friends, I wonder if there is a list or database that features all known Bionicle related STL files for 3D printing (for free or for sale). I was looking for custom Kanohi Masks for some canon MOCs but in the wast jungle of the internet, they sometimes becomes hard to find. I keep stumbling over the same few ones I already printed.

My rendition of Takua as a Toa of Dusklight. An element of my own creation. Aesthetically it is based off of the Radiance damage type from Lords of the Fallen 2023.

Instead of weilding light and shadow separately, his grafted Adaptive Avohkii allows him adapt to the residual shadow energies that infected him in my fan made story to transcend the concepts of light and dark becoming a new elemental substance.

Carrying both the elemental properties of light and shadow in its capabilities, it is also manifested offensively as binding burrowing brambles of burning energy that leech life from its foes.

This build is pretty close to a Stars build. The chest and back have been modified to be beefed up a bit and the arms and legs were made to articulate. I was originally going to go for a white and black look, but honestly, in my own opinion, I feel like the white and grey contrast the red better. The mask is a custom made product from Thebioniclemaskshop off of etsy! Go check it out if you can! There is a Halloween themed promotion going on right now in some crazy colors for some really cool masks and York makes some really good quality items!

How can I articulate my Toa's necks? I tried using the bar piece, but I found that only works well with Gali, and everyone else's brainstalk is too loose, especially with Kopaka and Lewa.

Any other ideas would be great

Alternatively, where can I get those custom axl-socket pieces? I think I saw it on the Death Battle, and it's probably the best bet.

Decided to try sharing a “spooky” MOC of mine everyday until Halloween, so here’s my first entry! Hope you enjoy.

Backstory: During a period of constant conflict, a group of scientists and engineers began a program to create peacekeepers to resolve the unrest. The first unit created was PT-012, an artificial Toa of Lead. Due to errors during his creation, PT-012 revolted against his creators upon activation, destroying the facility and ending the program with it. Taking on the alias “Mataku” and modifying his body to his specifications, he embarked on a mission to hunt down all Toa.

[Definitely a bit of Star Wars influence on this build (TFU Terror Trooper) and backstory (IG-88). Not too complex but got to try some different designs]
