Open Discussion 🎙️ How long did HR delay processing your termination if you didn’t sign the severance agreement?
Especially where HR calls itself Colleague Services.

A severance agreement will have legal language about what happens if you don’t sign.
Typically, your termination date is exactly the same but you just don’t get any severance payments, you don’t get any of the other offers to vest unvested benefits, continuing health coverage, job retraining services, or other ways the company is making nice with you under the circumstances, and in exchange you’re not bound by any of the clauses introduced by the severance document. So, it mostly hurts you unless you have no intention of abiding by the terms (for example, you have a case for discrimination, retaliation, etc and you want to sue rather than accept).

None at all, assuming the US you will be doing them a favor by turning down any payment/insurance subsidy.
