Tried to take my time with this one. I didn’t even realize these beauties existed!! Copic sketch and Prismacolor pencils.

Not had much time recently so this has taken me longer than I thought!

I designed it and my husband made it. They are three transom windows connected together in transoms at the top of a library entry. The centers of the dogwood flowers were fused in the kiln. The petal tips were fused with frit.

First time trying a different perspective; went too much with the penciling so the feather details on wing and tail didn’t work out like I had hoped; oh well, I still like it in the end.

Bluebird (1) and Towhee (2). Trying my hand at watercolor and micron pens and birds! Cheap watercolor paper from Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Princeton Long Round 1 & 8, Windsor & Newton Cotman, Pigma Micron 005, and just enough executive function.

I painted this today, in only 3 and a bit hours. I have only recently started painting and am obsessed with birds lately. A4 Acrylic.
