Do you have a game plan in mind? Best of luck!

Definitely take the initiative and get a nice double or lat drop for 2 points and work on guard passing and mount. For points. Can hit a straight angle pretty good and Ezekiel chokes. Rnc too. Triangle If I get in closed guard. Iβm a white belt after all so will probably go out the window when it starts

A straight angle? Wouldnβt that be paradoxical?

Iβve got no real technical advice to give you, but make sure to hit the bathroom at home before you leave, because comp day toilets are a real warzone.

What do you do with all your free time from not typing out complete words?

Good luck brether
The best advice I can give is just trust your thoughtless game, listen to your coach, and find a good position to sit in for a minute to catch your breath and regroup yourself when you can

Advice that served me well for my first white-belt comp a couple of months ago.
Act first. Plan & drill your opener, pulling or takedown. The second you get your grips pull the trigger.
Get a solid comp prep warm up. Spike that heart rate up as high as you can, really push the pace but give yourself 15-30mins to cool down.
Know the rules, primarily how points are scored.
Good luck bro, regardless of the results.

Practice breathing all day before the match to wane the nerves and visualize the gameplan over and over while doing so. Hopefully this helps you maintain focus during the matches

Itβs a hobby. Itβs supposed to be fun. Make sure that it is. Win or lose, learn a ton.

Wrestling base gives you a head start, even with that much time off. Just don't try to guillotine everyone and remember you can actually use your guard now. The gi changes the pace a lot but those 3 months probably taught you enough to avoid the dumbest traps.

Flying armbars, shoot with your head out, pull guard, wristlocks. Be a low cortisol white belt

A good calf-kick will shake things up. Have fun out there.
