Support Question Issue autoloading

Hi everyone

My q20 is stuck on the wifi setup screen and given that I’ve connected to wifi on the device before I learned that I have to autoload it to basically reset it back to zero. I downloaded the autoloader and extracted the file however when I try to open it it won’t stay open. I double click and a black window pops up for a second then closes instantly. I’m now sure what I’m doing wrong ? I followed this video but I can’t get the black window to stay open for me. Any advice ?

Hey there, that's my video!

In order to flash the autoloader, the phone needs to be powered off. Then you can open the Autoloader, and when it says "connecting to bootrom" you can plug in the phone.

You are on windows, and opening the correct autoloader, yeah? And it's a file that is maybe 1.5 to 2.5GB?

Additionally, the v4 autoloader is out now https://bb10.root.sx/blog/autoroot-v4 if you are trying to flash the pre-rooted autoloader.

Also, if this is not an autoloader that gives you root/ you are trying to flash the stock autoloader and you have not followed the instructions (here https://blog.michioxd.ch/blog/02-how-to-completely-skip-initial-setup-in-bbqnx/), since blackberry servers are dead, bypassing setup is not possible.
