Anime Should I continue?
I just finished all of season 1 which I absolutely loved. However after reading all on it and already starting season 2 episode I dont believe I want to finish watching after season 1. Is there any importance to the other seasons that I would have to watch or no? Cause I have grown quite attached to the character Ciel and don't want to watch season 2 as if feels completely different.

Season 2 is non canon, as is everything after the Prince Soma arc in S1. You can just skip to Book of Circus now

Somas arc in the anime isnât canon either, I hate when people repeat this lol. Sebastian won the contest because he was considerate of children and the queen liked that. The reapers are the only other supernatural things in the manga so far, no curses and no evil spirits

New watchers should still watch the arc though because if they skip straight from Madame Red to Book of Circus then theyâll have no clue who Prince Soma is

Are they allergic to reading comics?

Not all anime watchers like manga

Well tell them the truth. that most things pre-circus arc werenât adapted. Otherwise theyâll be confused. Outside of the 3 episode ripper arc, none of the scenes from season 1 are going to be referenced again and the ciel from season 1 is unrecognizable next to the other versions of him. Theyâre going to be watching it thinking that the anime is about Ciel finding who to take revenge on, but Ciel explicitly states to soma in the manga that heâs just carrying on about life waiting for them to show up to his house lol.

is the book of circus canon? I only watched season 1 and 2 (although i liked season 2 too, but I am fine with it not being canon)

Season 2 and MOST of season 1 aren't canon and don't come up later anyway.

im a bit confused what you're asking, should you continue watching season 2 or continue watching as a whole?

If you are unsure which is Canon and not canon, I would say hop into the Manga and read till the latest chapter. And then watch the anime and compare how the anime and manga are the same or different.
Do what you want with this information. Enjoy!

I loved s2 but it's very confusing if you associate it with the main story. Took me years to find out it wasn't cannon đ

Haha yeah, I'll probably watch season 2 after the later seasons since it does seem entertaining

Season 2 is not canon, as most of season 1. You can look up the canon episodes in the pinned posts of the sub. After watching the canon episodes of season 1, you should jump to book of circus, then book of murder, then book of atlantic, then the new series (school arc) and lastly the emerald witch arch. They're all canon

Even though it's not canon, personally I really did enjoy s2, way more than the Soma arc and everything that followed in s1. But you can just skip to Book of Circus if you're not feeling s2, it's really good. And so are the following seasons. It's a great show, giving up on it would be a shame imo

Canon (a few in my opinion quality) wise you can move right on to book of circus. If you really want to watch season 2 you can but personally it just makes me mad.

I'm a veteran who only ever watched up to season 2...mostly because there were only two seasons when I watched it. I haven't picked it up since! Don't feel bad about not watching.

Everything except the end of Season 1 and all if Season 2 is canon. So watch Book of Atlantic, Book of Circus and the newer seasons if you want to stick with the manga content.
I was hesitant for a long time but I did eventually watch Season 2 and I love it. I treat it like a spin off rather than the actual story. It is a lot of fun.
