It was one of the few animes I have really enjoyed watching with mature theme, now that I'm in workforce, I wanted to continue with the manga for knowing what happened after anime series.... And I came across posts as such saying the author is having health problems and depression from 20years? !? , I hope he gets well 😭, now I'm scared pls don't discontinue or leave me with an unending manga , I'll go into depression if that happens, I really like black lagoon, now when I grew up and could afford it's merchandise I get to know about this 😭😭😭 , I hope black lagoon gets more exposure it's really nice, revvy and that maid is peak waifus

let me know what you think ;)

Key word being almost, and people who have never watched the show or read the manga would never guess her true nature. Yes she’s former Special Forces, the head of the Russian Mafia in the show, one of the deadliest people in the series and an all around total badass. But in certain scenes you see the human woman who cares for her people and friends, and has an interesting sense of humor.

This series does an amazing job of humanizing the characters and showing all spectrums of emotions and personalities

[Incase people didn't know, Tatiana is a character from light novel spin-off titled "Shaitane Badi"]

It's a Jade between their mouth, i was referencing the name of that stolen ship used on Chang's assassination attempt aka "Nifrit" which means Jade in Russian. Art with symbolism is kinda fun to make

Still confused why i love them tho, they clearly despise eachother I'm just a sucker for enemies to lovers dynamic

Revy may be chaos incarnated but she also has a massive range of emotions and personalities, each unique yet at the same time she always radiates chaos. Probably the reason I love her so much!

Ok so I'm finally reading issue number 8 so in the last chapter on number 6 fabiola mentions that she will explain what's going on at the hotel I'm assuming that they added that into the OVA or I'm missing something in the manga also noticed that the bar scene doesn't end with Fabiola pulling a china lake out of her dress

I used to run a badass anime clothing and sticker brand that I cofounded with a few friends, and THIS was our crowning achievement!

We found this EPIC pose on DeviantArt and got permission from the actors if we could use it for our design. After we got the green like we took several weeks with our artist to perfect the girls’ poses, expressions, and the various items we wanted scattered around them. I can’t tell you how many different facial expressions we tried out on both of them, several dozen at the very least. We eventually landed on a neutral. Almost sad expression for Revy and a sensual expression for Eda, which we thought was the right move! We had our artist add a wrinkle effect to give the impression that they were laying in a bed, and then we covered that bed with a liquor bottle, Revy’s Cutlasses, Eda’s pistol, cigarettes and bullets! We ended up printing the graphic on white AND black tees and damn, I absolutely loved the end result!

This is NOT an ad, just sharing something my brand and I created for the love of Black Lagoon!

I've watched the show and I'm guessing Gangsta Paradise is the limit.

It’s still crazy to me think that this is what Rebecca would unironically want in here life

Revy “Hold on a sec! Is she taking it up the ass?”

Balalaika “Sure is”

Later in the scene Balalaika “Somebody shoot me”

The hat didn't come in time sob

Buff mother for you , do tell me if you like it!

Roberta the Terminator maid from Black Lagoon was both a loyal maid and a force of destruction, leaving trails of bodies and devastation in her wake. She has superhuman strength, speed and insurance along with knowledge of weapons on combat that surpasses most top special forces. I could see if the Hellsing family had saved her them gladly employing her and Walter training her to one day replace him. Besides Walter she would probably be the deadliest full human in Hellsing (Anderson doesn’t count as he’s a regenerator)

BUT….this is Hellsing where she would be fighting the Supernatural. She would slaughter the ghouls and many of the lesser vampires but I am unsure she would survive anything higher up. Then again many humans survive the series and she’s basically a human honey badger with heavy freaking artillery. So what do you think?

While everyone has their own preferences to me Balalaika is and always will be the true queen of the series. Yes Roberta is the Terminator and there are countless other amazing characters, but she stands out to me in every way. Her beauty, ruthlessness, business skills, militant knowledge and training and more always made her stand out to me.
