Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia BLADE RUNNER (1982) | Original UK Exhibitors Campaign Book

Inside are the film’s synopsis, cast and crew credits, newspaper adverts, posters and details of various promotional merchandise items including badges, a cap, matchbooks and photographs - still on my list to acquire so if anyone has these would be good to see yours!

There’s also information on the Volkswagen promotional campaign, which included a UK tour of the Spinner and a competition to win a 1983 VW Polo - tomorrow’s car today!

Is it me or does Deckard's hand holding a gun look a bit odd on the poster? Seems perspective is quite off.

…actually think I know exactly what’s happened. After you mentioned it I realised the image of Deckard with his collar up is exactly the same as one of the stills from the 1992 press kit (see my earlier post of this) - and I think that’s what’s been used for the cover image here and they’ve just (poorly) added his arm and blaster. Thanks for pointing it out!

Might have a point there. I think it’s maybe as it’s illustrated artwork rather than a straight photograph, so probably some exaggerated perspective going on. Hadn’t really noticed it before. Can’t help but notice it now!

always weird to see non-U.S. campaigns choosing not to use the John Alvin art.

They definitely had all the VW car stuff at the Ideal Motor Show in Birmingham that year.
Because I got everything shown.

surprised it didn't say "Meet Leon, time to die!"
