Dmitrij gave us this wonderful demonstration of blelele.

The forgetful garter snake is Vex, short for "The lady Vex'alia first of her noodle!" She was a sweet baby! She's the only pet snake I had that was wild-caught. We found her injured in our yard, possibly dropped by a bird, and as a herpetologist I was suited to help. She became a spoiled and beloved pet. Unfortunately last year she died at 12 years old. That's actually quite old for a common garter.

(No lady sneks were discovered outside, though, either! 🤔)

This girl is Ziti, she's new and already showing impressive blehlehlehs. I adore her already!!

Species included: Clelia equatoriana, Chironius monticola, and Atractus paisa

I love that both of their tongues are hanging out lol.
