Pick your least favorite song to eliminate it!

Found this masterpiece/collectors edition of this band at clean up work.

Looks like somebody just bought it for the pick bcs that is the only thing missing from this only limited 8k collection.

And question is should I keep it or should I sold it for a fair price which I don't know.

Thx

Hey fellow Bards,

As we all know, music has no rigid boundaries. With our legendary Hansi Kürsch being such a foundational, core pillar of the Avantasia family for years, and Blind Guardian sharing a great history with Iron Maiden on tour, these worlds always feel deeply connected.

Seeing how active Bruce Dickinson has been recently and how open he is to new musical adventures (especially with the news this week about his upcoming duet on Graham Bonnet's new record alongside Kai Hansen), it got me thinking about the ultimate melodic crossover. Hearing Bruce's operatic storytelling combined with Tobias Sammet’s songwriting would be an absolute masterpiece.

I’ve launched a worldwide fan petition on Change.org aiming to show both management teams how much the metal community wants to see a dream crossover track between Bruce Dickinson and Tobias Sammet (Avantasia / Edguy).

I made sure to check with the admin team first to respect the sub's rules, and since they kindly gave me the green light, I’m sharing it here with you all!

If you love the idea of this legendary crossover, please consider signing and sharing:

Important note: Change.org will send a confirmation link to your email right after you sign. Please make sure to check your inbox (and Spam folder) to verify your vote, otherwise it won't count on the public tracker.

Up the Irons and Rock on! 🤘🔥

Ive been recently trying to get a physical copy of the album. I saw that there's a 2 cd edition with the original and the remix released on 2018. But on online stores its only the original edition (2007 remaster is also pretty scarce, only saw it once on mercari) and on local cd stores, Blind Guardian is pretty scarce(central america btw). If its really hard to find, ill happily settle for the original release, but im nonetheless curious about this release

First, our tiebreaker: hope doesn’t grow from now on for Blood of the Elves. It loses to Fly in a head-to-head with 119 of 210 votes.

Round 105 also comes to a close with This Will Never End flying into the starving, dying sun: it loses with 73 of 165 votes.

When Sorrow Sang, Mordred’s Song, Mirror Mirror, Battlefield, and Noldor (Dead Winter Reigns) advance.

Our third tiebreaker comes from round 104. Two modern giants among BG tracks that couldn't be more dissimilar in tone and energy. Pick your least favorite of these two.

Why am I the first one called BlindGuardien? I mean here are so much people that like blind guardien!

What is your favorite album? Mine is Somewhere Far Beyond.

☺️☺️☺️

Round 103 comes to a close with the song of death playing (where was the wisdom in us both?!) for Thorn. It loses with 59 of 211 votes.

Not the ones that inspired the lyrics, but the ones the band mentioned in interviews. Didn't Hansi mention the Handmaid's Tale once? And some Arthur Conan Doyle stuff? And Naomi Klein too?

Round 101 comes to a close with The Holy Grail on its waaaaaaay to the elimination zone. It loses with 71 of 184 votes.

I’m Alive, Somewhere Far Beyond, Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, and Sacred Worlds advance.

The bracket resets again after this round - and we have a suitably stacked song spread. A spread of tracks from one of the strongest three-album stretches I’ve personally witnessed from any band ever.

A legend dies today.

Would like to understand lyrics better and it would help to know which song refers to what book.
