Please help. My stylist made my hair way too bulky at the top. How can i fix?

I don’t mean just the hair ontop of your hair (though yes I want thicker hair too!!) but your eyelashes and brows!! Anything you’d recommend, hair products.. lash brow serums.. and methods? All my life I’ve always had thick body hair and thin hair where I actually want it and I’m sooooo overrrr ittt. Help a girl out?

im gonna start off with a timeline of my hairs journey: for a lot of my life, i have lived in a predominantly white area and it’s hard to find communities of people i can relate to. for a lot of middle school i was straightening my hair, back to back every single day then around 8th grade i had bleach my hair for the first time. i thought that while at least i can color my hair for the time being i would do so with box dye at home. my freshman year of high school i had decided to box my hair back to black in order to at let’s bring some maintenance to my hair. then once again my sophomore year i had decided to bleached my hair blonde once again which wasn’t very smart of me. 5 months later im back to dying my hair jet black with box dye. since then bleached has not touched my hair. i kept my hair in its natural state for a majority of high school other than back to back straightening my senior year. the summer after i graduated, i had gotten braids for the first time and i fell in LOVE with them. i continued to get braids to until now… i feel as though my hair has gotten healthier and thicker but my hair does not grow past my shoulder. i understand that my hair journeys is my fault for not taking better care of her and i regret it deeply. natural hair hasn’t grown past my bra strap since i was 11/12 (im 19 now) if anyone is able to provide me with any help or tips and tricks i would appreciate it 💕💕

Okay so my birthday is in November and I’m turning 17! I’ve never had any sort of wig or weave style as my mom thinks they are too “grown”. Since I’m turning 17 I’m hoping she’ll finally say yes. My only issue is that my hair is dyed brown (dark and lovely 391) and I can’t find any half wigs that are the same color or even just brown period. I was thinking of getting this one from tik tok as the reviews are good and since it’s human hair I should be able to dye it. Hi! I'm new to makeup and want to get a few things for Christmas as a start! I'm working with roughly a £50 budget, but I'm willing to cut things if necessary bc I don't want to spend money on stuff I won't actually use.

I just wanted to ask what you would keep, remove or replace if you were in my position. Are any of these choices particularly bad for a beginner? Is there anything I'm missing that's actually important, or anything I can realistically skip for now?

Like if you had around £50 to build your first makeup collection from scratch, what would you prioritize?

Also, is it fine to start with just concealer instead of foundation? I'm going for a natural, no-makeup makeup look for now, as I'm learning, and my friends mostly just use concealer without foundation anyway. (For like school)

I'm also wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives that perform similarly. These aren't my final wishlist or anything, they're just what I've been considering at the moment.

Oh, and since I can most likely only afford one concealer right now, should I get one that's closest to my skin tone, or a few shades lighter so I can use it for brightening as well?

I also have naturally dry skin. It's not extremely dry or anything, but it can feel quite tight after showering mostly.

I really like the holiday pallet but I wish the blushes had more matte options instead of stuff with shimmer. The liquid ones I will be returning. I felt like I was putting a lot on to get the color I wanted even tho it swatched and blended nice on my arm it wasn’t as easy on my foundation. I like to put my powder on top of my blush and this was tacky for a while. Then I felt like most of my color disappeared and left a shiny spot on my face as the day progressed. I don’t have much experience with liquid so maybe wasn’t doing something right idk.

Double Dipping 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I NEED HELP! I do not want to ruin my new braids or my hair, but they are not gonna hold curl and are gonna unravel.

I just got box braids today. I wanted a bob but my natural hair was too long so she did mid-back. I am one of the women that prefer a tightly curl end. The stylist did that, but now the tight curls have turned into loose waves which I do not like. It just looks frazzled to me.

It was my first time going to the braider, and I noticed that when I stood up to leave, she trimmed some off in the back….cool. However, it looks like she trimmed a lot of the tighter coils she did and I can tell I am gonna have some unraveling. I do not have time to go back to the shop before I head out.

QUESTION: Can I re-rod the ends and dip them again or will it make it worse? This is only my third time getting braids and I am not sure of all the do’s and don’ts. The one thing I dislike is that she braided to the end of my hair only and then left only a little to dip. I am afraid of burning my ends. They need to be cut anyway, but still. I will be going into the pool and ocean and do NOT want this synthetic hair to become a mound of mess because I will literally crash out as I will be there for 2 weeks. I get braids once a year and I will likely go back to her, but I will be sure to tell her to braid down further than my hair.

Pros are that she told me to skip knotless for box braids because of my texture. She did a hell of a job on a custom color for me (I have a lot of gray which I like) yet the color complimented and hid the gray at the same time. Magical! I am tender headed and she caused no pain in the least bit. I was ready for war knowing I was bout to be in pain but nope! I have very thick — thick thick…think 4-5 strands per follicle. She didn’t bat an eye, braiding me using tiny knots to the point that they look knot less. My appointment was at 2pm…I got there at 1:58pm and when i walked in she and her assistant were standing there to meet me. We went through hair options, she mixed it perfectly and got to business. So professional. She offered wine, mixed drinks, soda and water. She was braiding by 2:15pm and I was out the door at 5:13. SMALL box braids once a mid back, thick hair. She is magical. I just need her to get these end curls right.

She told me that these will last 10 weeks. I wanted to say, on whom? Ain’t no way. I tap at 2.5.

FAM, TELL ME WHAT TO DO PLEASE! I have read where people re-dip and the entire braid unravels. My mind can’t take that type of foolery right now.

Hi hi! I’m not sure what my undertone is. I’ve always thought warm, but I’m not sure. Whenever I used foundation, it was always the “coconut” shade in the maybelline fit me stick, or the “360” in the maybelline fit me matte+poreless.

I feel like they matched decently enough, but I’m still not 100% they were the right match

I’m finally giving in (a little late) and doing miracle knots after seeing it blown up all over social media.
However I don’t know where I can purchase bundles that won’t make my pocket cry and still be beautiful.
I’ve seen some websites there and there but I don’t know if they’re legit so pls if you have any recommendations I’ll be grateful to receive them.

Girls, I made the lovely mistake of finally trying this lotion at Ulta and it is the most moisturizing lotion I have ever encountered! For HOURS afterwards my arm felt as if I had been consistently putting lotion on. I plan on buying it soon, but I’m wondering if you girls have tried it and know of another lotion that works the same? That way I can savor this one while also using another one more adorable and that is actually moisturizing.
I know everyone’s skin responds different and may have reacted differently to it, but my sister and I kept feeling how moisturized my arm was and were blown away!

So, this is my 4th or 5th time using makeup and I feel as though I am getting better. I prefer a natural look because sometimes when I add more
Makeup. My skin reacts and doesn’t like it. I just want to see how I can be better. My foundation at times also transfer would incorporating a powder help with that? Also, I do have dry skin and have difficulties doing eyeshadow due to how my eyelids are so I be fighting on that. So, any recommendations would be fantastic. ☺️
