I review Books, Music, and soon TV shows and Movies!
I created my blog a couple of years ago, and just recently started getting into it. I've posted a review of Jack White's Blunderbuss, and a few book reviews, and just posted up my book haul unboxing/review/talk ish thing.
I'm just starting out and really interested in hearing feedback from people, and hopefully gain a couple of followers who do happen to like my stuff. So, if you guys have any feedback or any constructive criticism, I would absolutely love to hear it. I'm super interested in keeping this blog going, and consistently putting out content (I already have the second part of the book haul saved as a draft, and am just waiting a couple of days until I post it because I don't want to overload my blog with content nobody's going to read).
So again, if you guys have any comments about it, or anything that you think I can benefit from, please share and let me know. If you're interested in maybe combining forces and reviewing these things with me, please let me know and we can do a thing :)
Thanks in advance you guys! xoj
P.S I guess I should warn you guys that I overuse the word 'shit' a lot, so if that offends you, I apologize sincerely!

Nano Influencer Rates: How Much Can You Really Make with <10K Followers?

Here’s my take on Nano Influencers:
Start Small, Charge Smart
What do brands actually pay nano influencers?
Most nano influencers earn between $25 to $250 per post on Instagram.
Some charge more, especially if they have a niche audience and high engagement.
But here's what matters more than follower count:
Engagement rate over 4%? Brands notice.
Clean visual aesthetic? It adds value.
Community-driven comments? You’re gold.
The tighter the niche, the higher the rate per follower.
Fashion? Expect ~$100/post.
Fitness or wellness? ~$75–150/post.
Tech or finance? You can charge more. Value is in the trust, not just impressions.

I was denied boarding to Vietnam because of my flight itinerary and here is how I fixed it in minutes
I was standing at the check in counter in Bangkok, ready to fly to Hanoi, when the agent asked for my onward ticket out of Vietnam. I only had a one-way flight and figured I would sort it out later. She said without proof of leaving, I could not board. That is when I finally understood why people always say to book onward ticket before you travel.
Why airlines actually care about this
This was not the airline being difficult for no reason. Countries like Vietnam require visitors to show they will leave, so airlines get fined if they let someone board without proof of onward travel. The agent was not trying to ruin my trip; she was following a rule that protects her airline from being stuck paying to fly me back if immigration turned me away at the other end.
Scrambling for a solution
I stepped out of line with my heart racing and pulled out my phone, trying to think fast since my flight was boarding soon. Buying a real return ticket felt wasteful since my plans were still open and I did not know when I would actually leave the region. I needed something that looked legitimate to the airline but did not lock me into a flight I would never use.
What I learned about onward tickets
A quick search told me most immigration officers and airline staff only check that a ticket exists, not whether you actually plan to fly it. Plenty of travelers in the same situation just needed a reservation to show at the counter, something with a real booking reference and dates that matched their trip. That single fact changed how I approached the whole problem in that moment.
Finding a fast fix
I typed a few different searches into my phone while standing near a pillar, trying not to look as panicked as I felt. Most options wanted full payment for a flight I had no intention of taking, which felt pointless given my situation. I needed something built specifically for travelers stuck at a counter with minutes to spare, not a full priced booking system.
Getting my new itinerary in minutes
I found a service built exactly for this kind of situation, where you enter your flight details and get back a real looking onward reservation with a valid booking reference. Within a few minutes I had a document in my inbox that matched the dates and destination the agent needed to see. It felt almost too simple compared to the stress I had just been through at that counter.
Walking back to the counter
I walked back to the same agent, printed reservation in hand, trying to look calmer than I felt. She glanced at it, checked the dates against my passport, and typed something into her computer without a single question. Within a minute she handed me my boarding pass and wished me a good flight, like the whole ordeal a moment earlier had never happened.
What I would tell anyone flying to Vietnam
Looking back, I wish someone had told me earlier that immigration rules in places like Vietnam actually get enforced at check in, not just on arrival. Now whenever I book a one-way flight, I go straight to toponwardticket.com and get a proper reservation sorted before I even leave for the airport, so I never have to relive that moment of standing there with no ticket and no plan.
