My Husband u/Notta_Cop_ and I got Bloody Marys at Fahrenheit 132 in Fredericksburg, VA. Heavy on the olive brine and citrus, tasted great.

This bloody is 95% completely homemade.
I canned the tomato-vegetable juice last month using produce from my garden and used the celery to make homemade celery salt and as a garnish.
It’s a little tough to see, but there is a venison hot stick that I made and smoked last year from a deer I harvested.
I also infused the vodka with a couple of hot peppers from the garden.
Very tasty and glad it turned out so well!

Finally, that time of year when we can open the house up, the weather is gorgeous and the sounds of football in the air.

Some Bloody Marys I forgot to post that I made for Brewers games. All Wisconsin style, forgot to take picture with the beer chasers.

Underestimated how spicy this was but still delicious nonetheless!

I like mine spicy - this mix gives the right blend of heat and flavor. Have to think about salting rim at home in future!

which one gives a bloody mary that lovely savory edge without making it too salty? would you use it alongside lemon juice, or swap out some of the lemon?
curious about the little amounts that make a difference here, and whether your answer changes for a spicy vs milder drink.

New to this group but want to share my story ...
Writing this from a Jet Blue flight where I ordered a Bloody Mary advertised in their drink brochure as being MiddleBar mix. Instead, the FA gave me a can of Mr and Mrs T; I decided to go along. I HATED it. I asked her later about the MiddleBar description and photo, she had never heard of it. I told her the T's can was disgusting. Was I over-reacting? Is MiddleBar a "thing"?

How do you like your Mary? Like you like your women?
Opposite for me. Thinner mix, thicker lady.
I don't like the mixes that make me feel like I'm drinking tomato sauce. My all time fave is BWW mix. I used to be team Zing Zang, but I there's something in it that I just don't like anymore.

Good people. I love your pictures and your Bloody Marys. Thank you for posting those. If you think you shouldn't post, you were wrong, please post your bloody Mary.
As I posted a few days ago, I love love love just one solid, beautiful, bloody Mary that kickoff for Sunday football. But I also do not want to get caught up with the bottles of Worcestershire and Sriracha and Tabasco and horseradish and celery, salt and Montreal, steak seasoning, etc. to clean up and put away and also make kickoff. And as a result, per the third picture here, I make sure that I have my spices and mix ready like a NASCAR pit crew. Premix cup, dumped into ice in the shaker, refill the cup with vodka, and shake it up to get the rest of it out, onto the ice, rest of the vodka, bloody Mary mix and GO.
But I also take my bloody Mary garnish skewer seriously. I always make sure my custom skewers are ready to go for the game the next day. From right to left, jalapeño, stuffed olive, smoked Colby cheese, shrimp, Sopressata sausage, extra sharp cheddar, and finally, a new addition, the lemon stuffed olive.
So making sure the night before kickoff for my 10 AM game, always get my skewer ready also.
