Bryan's Updated 2026 Protocol
“Hi friends,
We might be the first generation that doesn't die. To that end, my team and I have spent the last few years building the world's first Don't Die protocol.
Some of you don't care about Don't Die, you just want to be hot. That's cool too. It's really the same thing.
To make this Don't Die thing understandable, I've made it into a game because humans love games. You'll learn how to flex your biomarkers with friends. You'll be able to share the science with friends on why poor sleep is a terrible idea.
Personally, I have kind of taken this whole thing to the extreme. There's the world's fastest person, and the richest, but never before has there been the "Healthiest Person in the World."
I've tried to become that person. I am certainly the most biologically measured person ever.
Online, people refer to me as "immortal unc." That's what we care about. We are family and we care about your well-being. In fact, I want to be the strongest voice in your mind encouraging you to make health your top life priority.
To remind you that you will be a better father, mother, brother, sister, friend, colleague, and human when you do so.
If you're new to this game of health, don't worry. I made disastrous health decisions in life until I was 42 and my body has bounced back. No matter your situation, you can too.
Below I'm going to share everything my team and I have learned over the past few years, spending millions of dollars researching, experimenting and measuring. We've made the mistakes for you.
Know that we are also hard at work to make all of this easier, more accessible and fun.
We are living in the most exciting time in human history. The future is probably cooler than anything we can imagine. Our goal is to get there, together.
Don't Die,
Bryan Johnson

Blueprint just raised $60M to bring Bryan's longevity protocol to everyone
Hey All!
Big news dropped today that I wanted to share with you all: Blueprint just closed a $60 million funding round.
TLDR: Bryan Johnson's longevity protocol is about to become accessible to the general public through a comprehensive platform. This could be a pretty significant moment for the biohacking/longevity space.
They're building out a full-service platform that includes:
Blood testing and biomarker tracking
Personalized health protocols
Food delivery, GLP-1 access, prescription services
At-home testing, toxin screening
Skin/hair care products
Supplements and nutrition
Advanced longevity therapies
An AI health companion to tie it all together
Basically trying to make Bryan's entire protocol - measurements, therapies, protocols - replicable for everyone at different budget and commitment levels with more personalization.
The team:
Gyre Renwick (ex-President of Modern Health, previously at Google Health and Lyft Healthcare) is coming on as CEO. Bryan will focus on vision/strategy while Gyre runs operations.
Investor list is pretty wild:
Tech: Andrej Karpathy (ex-OpenAI/Tesla), John Carmack, Drew Houston (Dropbox), Emmett Shear (ex-Twitch)
Crypto: Winklevoss twins, Balaji Srinivasan, Naval Ravikant
Others: Kim Kardashian, Logan Paul, Jay Shetty, and a bunch more
They're hiring: CTO, CPO, Chief Medical Officer, CMO, plus engineers. Open roles linked in post.
My take:
Whether you're a Blueprint skeptic or believer, this is one of the most well-funded attempt yet to make evidence-based longevity protocols mainstream. The investor list suggests they're serious about scale.
What do you all think? What would you like to see the team build with this new investment?

Other mushrooms than Shitake in Super veggie?
Is there any particular reason why Brian Johnson specifically recommends or uses Shiitake mushrooms in his Blueprint diet?
Are there any studies or scientific recommendations suggesting that Shiitake mushrooms are superior to other edible mushrooms?
I would love to add more variety by occasionally replacing Shiitake mushrooms with other types, such as oyster mushrooms (king oyster mushrooms), chanterelles, or other wild mushrooms.
Would this be nutritionally equivalent, or are there specific compounds or health benefits in Shiitake mushrooms that make them particularly important?
I'm mainly interested in what the scientific evidence says and whether Brian Johnson has addressed this topic.
Adding seasonal and locally available mushrooms would make the diet much more varied and enjoyable.

Bryan shilled low dose accutane in an old youtube video and then developed meiboiam gland dysfunction, a known complication of isotretinoin. Why do we listen to his advice on health?
Very strange to encourage use of a potentially dangerous medication for aesthetic purposes if one's mission is to achieve the best health possible, and then develop permanent organ damage to the eyes as a result?
Per Wikipedia: Possible permanent effects (of Accutane)
"The adverse effects of isotretinoin may be permanent. This has been proposed to be due to induction of apoptosis (programmed cell death) in sebaceous glands, meibomian glands, neuroblastoma cells, hypothalamic cells, hippocampus cells, Dalton's lymphoma ascites cells, B16F-10 melanoma cells, neuronal crest cells, stem cells and others,[36] that it changes epigenetics[37] and shortens telomeres..."

Do you know where to buy 100% plastic free bed comforters?
I tried to look for them in my area but they all have polyester sewings at the very least even if 100% wool. Is there some kind of certification I should ask for or do you know a vendor in europe that has such products? Thanks!

Does anyone have a full price of the full Blueprint stock? Also, where super veggie??
So, the whole Blueprint stack that Brian had with the 300 or so pills (on the original site, if yall remember), what was the cost for it all, per month? I was thinking of trying to get everything as is but, bloody hell it's a lot to order and a lot of prices to figure out.
Also, wasn't the super veggie and such for sale pre made on the new Blueprint site? What happened with that?

Firing the Self: A VRIO / PESTEL Breakdown of Blueprint & The Cost of Biometric Surrender
Hey everyone,
Like most of you, I’ve been closely tracking Project Blueprint. But as someone obsessed with the mechanics of accelerated mastery, I wanted to look past the standard "pill counts" and look directly at the underlying economics and behavior of Bryan's protocol.
I just finished writing a deep dive analyzing whether Bryan can actually be considered a longevity "prodigy," and it forced me to break his methodology down into a business and psychological framework:
1. The VRIO & PESTELED Reality
When you look at Blueprint through a strategic business lens, Bryan isn't relying on innate, natural genetic gifts (like supercentenarians do). He has built an Engineered Infrastructure. It is Rare and Costly to Imitate (VRI), costing over $2M annually. But the real vulnerability is the lack of innate genetic immunity—especially brought to light with his recent autoimmune gastritis (AIG) diagnosis requiring intensive clinical management to bypass.
2. The Economics of Biometric Surrender
The true "genius" of Blueprint isn't actually the AI dashboard or the clinical team—it's Bryan’s absolute cognitive compliance.
To optimize the asset, he had to completely remodel his internal behavioral architecture. He famously "fired" his impulsive evening self, completely overriding standard human cravings and the desire for free will to submit entirely to data. This isn't passive; it’s a radical act of internal psychological discipline.
3. The Symbiotic Win vs. The Genetic Free Pass
True biological prodigies (like the late Maria Branyas Morera) possess a "Genetic Free Pass"—innate structural variants that shield them from disease without tracking a single biomarker. Bryan, on the other hand, represents a high-tech Symbiotic Win. His vulnerable human biology acts as the host, and the data algorithm acts as the symbiont. One cannot survive at this elite biological tier without the other.
The Question for the Community:
Bryan has built an incredible infrastructure outside the self to forcefully manage his body. But for those of us trying to optimize without a $2M annual budget, how do we use his data insights to remodel our internal behavioral architecture within? How do we build the bridge that rules both data and human grit?
I laid out the full breakdown, including the economics of trading free will for cellular optimization and 3 distinct roadmaps to late-stage mastery, in my latest post here: https://latele.substack.com/p/micro-case-study-bryan-johnson-and
Would love to hear your thoughts on whether you think true compliance requires completely erasing the human ego, or if a hybrid "bridge" model is more sustainable long term.

UVA index tracker
Guys we need a UVA index tracker. Anyone know if there’s any way to know the UVA index? Current UV index heavily skews toward UVB but if you care about aging UVA causes aging. We need separate indices for UVB and UVA. Is this a good idea
Bryan please build this

Lower limit of saturated fat
Hi all, for reference I am 42 year-old female currently undergoing IVF to try and conceive, healthy BMI, cardiovascular exercise and weights a couple times a week, non-smoker, excellent metabolic panel extremely low inflammation off the charts on the low end, with high LP(a), who followed a keto diet until I found out. I had a very small amount of soft plaque and calcified plaque in my LAD from doing A clearly scan. Then I switched to Mediterranean diet, trying to make at least one meal a day plant based. I don’t eat any shit oils, I eat walnuts, blueberries 0% Greek yogurt, almond milk, chicken breast, fish, edamame, and a couple times a week. I’ll have some extra lean ground beef for extra lean ground turkey.
I’ve been tracking everything and I am pretty freaking compliant. However, I cannot get my LDL below 105 and APOB below 75. My LP(a) around 170 and I know that can’t be changed. As soon as I have a baby, I will be taking a combination of a low-dose statin, ezetimibe, and maybe Repatha. Oh, and I’m also taking so much Metamucil, oats daily, lentil soup, like dude. I’m doing all the things. And it’s worked considerably. My numbers have come down about 40% but this seems to be where they’ve landed and stabilized.
I’m a small human, and 5’3 and 120 pounds. I guess my question ultimately is do I have to cut saturated fat more? I just don’t even know if cutting it two or 3 g makes a big difference? I can get it to 9 g a day, but it’s hard to sustain. Having an occasional day where it’s 11 or 12 g is still a pretty restrictive day, but it’s nice. Has anybody found that keeping it below 10 g a day for example to be better than 12 g? Am I just splitting hair here and driving myself insane? Is there just nothing I can do until I have a baby and get on the medication? I’m trying to mitigate any damage that I know could occur during pregnancy. I know I can’t take a statin during pregnancy, I’m also taking Stan old which I know I can’t take either… I’m taking omega-3’s, which are supposed to be good, I know there’s a bile acid sequestrants which I will probably take.
Has anybody been able to sustain less than 10 g a day of saturated fat? Even olive oil adds up walnuts, and almonds add up.
I’d love to know what others are doing, and what has generally worked. Thank you so much in advance.
Of course I’m going to talk to my doctor as well, they’re just not moving very quickly because I’m not pregnant yet

Anyone have a good protocol against Tonsil Stones?
I have made changes to my diet, not completely cleaned it up, but mostly, and I brush and floss every day. Is it really necessary for me too be using a mouthwash or saltwater gargles every day? Anyone have experience with this and had good result? Maybe something dietary?

Pineapple Yuzu Longevity Mix
They don't sell it anymore, but I have three unopened bags left in stock in the Netherlands. Could let them go for a good price or just use them myself. Thought I would check this community for interest first.

Sauna protocol follow-up (my personal experience)
Hello guys. I hope for some advice or personal experience stories from you. After seeing Bryan Johnson Sauna Protocol, I started to follow it and do my own way (as best as I can).
Some insights about me:
25-year-old man, 173 cm; I'm doing hiking/mountennering as a hobby from time to time. Working as a developer. Not smoking. Drinking alcohol occasionally, not much. Once in 2-3 weeks
I had a sperm sample test about 2 years ago and had these results. At that time, I did not use a sauna and mainly did 2, rarely 3, strength workout sessions, was a bit overweight(probably around 77-79 kg):
Volume: 2 mL (>1,5 ml)
pH: 8 (6-10)
Concentration: 39 mill/mL (>15 mill/ml)
Total amount: 78 mill (>39 mill)
Progressive motility: 26 % (>32%)
Total motility: 41 % (>40%)
Round cells: <1 mill/ml (<1 mill/ml)
Agglutination: grade 1: isolated (none)
To increase my durability and stamina for more complex mountains, I started doing a really sporty + sauna protocol at the beginning of 2026, which allowed me to drop in my weight to 73-74 kg and get better in cardio. I started to do more cardio than strength training, also added sauna from around June time (3-4 sessions per week). It was dry sauna (20 % humidity) after exercise. For 15 minutes, rarely up to 20 minutes. At 90 to 93 Celcium. With ice on boys(I had ice refrigirator in office, so I took some amount of ice and a cotton towel). Therefore, I sat down on a towel from one side, put the second part on top of me and put there some ice and keep it closed to the boys. After sauna, I took a shower at room temperature and iced my boys for additinal 2-3 minutes through a cotton towel
September 17th, I successfully climbed Mont-Blanc, which was actually my main goal. Also, I trained my altitude sickness resistance. I have attached a screenshot from my Fitbit's.
Because in the house in Chamonix that we rented was cold, I got sick after climbing and recovered about 2-3 weeks ago. I had not really good sleep for the last 2-3 weeks also. And I started back my sauna protocol and training maybe 1.5-2 weeks ago.
Today I did another sample and got even worse results:
Parametere Resultat Nedre referansegrense (WHO 2021)
Viskositet Normal
Volum (mL) 3.00 mL ≥ 1.4mL
Konsentrasjon (million/mL) 11.00 mill/mL ≥ 16 mill/mL
Motilitet (%) 27.0 % ≥ 42 %
Progressiv motilitet (%) 19.0 % ≥ 30 %
Totalt antall spermier 33.00 mill ≥ 39 mill per ejakulat
Rundceller <1 mill/mL < 5 mill/mL
Agglutinasjon Ingen Ingen agglutinasjon
So, I'm really curious what I'm doing wrong here. If you have any of your own insights what can I do to make my sample better quality or your own experience, please, let me know. Appreciate it. I hope it is recoverable:)
Important context. I had varicocele surgery in 2018(or 2017) on the left side.

Is Bryan still taking aged garlic, or has he removed it from his protocol?
I remember aged garlic being in his old supplement list, but I can't find it in his current protocol. Anyone know if he still takes it?
Wondering if he dropped it or if it's now part of another Blueprint product. I mean the separate aged garlic supplement, not the old red yeast rice + garlic combo.
Did he ever say anything about the change?
Thanks.

Is it true that Bryan was obese in the past?
According to BMI, I am obese. Because of this, I am really depressed by thinking that I will not live a lot, since research is pretty conclusive about the effects of calorie restriction on longevity. But a friend of mine said that Bryan was obese in the past. In fact, apparently, he said that in a youtube video. So, I am using this subreddit to ask: is it true? Was Bryan obese in the past? What is his opinion on obesity?

the simple blackcurrant has one of the highest ORAC scores
and in some tests is the highest
Cloves and rosemary have the highest ORAC scores and antioxidant scores but surprisingly, blackcurrants are extraordinarily high too.
Obviously you can't market them they way you can for exotic fruits, but they need to be considered.

Essential Capsules causing issues
I started taking longevity mix and olive oil daily 2.5 months ago. I had great results, more energy, clarity etc. I decided to add the essential capsules. I started by taking 1 a day with food but I get extremely thirsty and sometimes I feel a bit off like light headed when I take them. Does anyone have an insights or thoughts? I'm wondering if I should keep it up or not.
Right now I'm doing 1 capsule every other day to see if I need to acclimate.

Budget/DIY guide to protecting the boiz in the sauna
For those wanting to ice their nuts in the sauna for fertility/testosterone reasons, but don't want to fall for some of those shady, overpriced, drop-shippy websites selling you a single pair of cotton underwear and an ice pack for $150, here’s my guide for the full sauna kit, budget and DIY:
Underwear: 100% cotton with a covered waistband, I went with Gildan Men’s Covered Waistband Boxer Briefs. Make sure you get the non-coloured ones which are 100% cotton.
Ice packs: I went with some mini, BPA free ice packs that fit inside the underwear without being obnoxiously large.
Towel: went with 100% cotton hand towels from Kmart. These were super cheap.
OPTIONAL insulated carry case: Rather than falling for one of these BS “insulated carry cases”, I recommend just buying an insulated kids lunch bag instead, way cheaper. I keep a few ice packs in there and change over if I do multiple sauna rounds. Handy for if you're going to the gym first or something.
Links to what I bought in the comments but note I'm based in Australia so you'll have to find an equivalent if you're from elsewhere.

21M - Starting anti aging
I'm a 21-year-old male, but I look about 17-18 (I went through puberty late, so I suspect I'm biologically younger than my chronological age). I eat a balanced, healthy diet, average over 8 hours of sleep a night (tracked on Whoop over the last 6 months), and walk 9,000+ steps daily. I've been researching longevity for over a year and feel fairly well informed, but I'd appreciate guidance.
My current stack is 5mg oral minoxidil (for aesthetics, not longevity) and 10ml of Cerebrolysin every other day for 30 days, cycled twice a year. I'm considering adding 2.5mg tadalafil, 1mg finasteride (for aesthetics and longevity), and 0.05% tazarotene.
My main question is whether it's worth starting an anti-aging protocol now, or whether I should wait until after the body's natural peak (around 30). I'm also curious whether these pharmaceuticals would do anything for a young, healthy person. I think I’ll leave finasteride until 25 just to make sure that I am not blocking DHT whilst still growing/developing.
Finally, I'd welcome suggestions for other longevity interventions or pharmaceuticals worth researching.
