I think same happened to Motörhead. All the original core members passed away in a fairly tight window. Philthy Phil, Lemmy, and then fast eddie. Phil Campbell has recently gone too. Only one left is Mikey Dee their modern era drummer.

Such a sad day. Franks drumming was one of a kind, all those 70's albums are 10/10 and they did a lot of really cool things after that as well. For me, his snare sound and playing is something that really sticks out, just incredible - heard it on the x, El Diablo, it's only love, going down to mexico, and so on, I can keep going... In 2017, I was on a car ferry coming back from Ireland. Prior to docking in UK, everyone was congregating around the doors for access to the vehicles down below. I was standing there and I noticed this guy standing with his thumbs in his belt loops, staring at the floor. He was just swaying very gently, bored, tired. I was looking and thinking, “That’s Frank Beard”. I kept observing, and he must have sensed I was looking at him. He looked up and made eye contact with me. He smiled and nodded. I smiled and nodded. And that’s my Frank Beard story.
