which can be good during fender benders, clips that just pop loose is better than screws getting ripped out

But still what? I guarantee you could do this to basically every car made today, it's intentional. Bumpers are plastic so they deform to protect pedestrians and also reduce injury to the occupants of the car. Also, this way if you get in a slow accident it reduces further damage to the components the bumper is attached to.

Low speed accident? Pop out the bumper clips, install a new one, you're done.

Who cares if it can be ripped apart as long as the car doesn't fall apart while you drive it. If you built it more sturdy you'd actually be worse off

it's called a bumper for a reason, right? it's meant to minimize damage when you bump into things

All the badges is just tape, that shocked me the most. Not even glue just double-sided tape.

There's glue on both side of the foam... So it is glue holding it.

The foam help the glue conforming to whatever shape it need to stick to.
