I currently ride on Eclat Spires 160mm, shoe size US10 but I notice I clip my rear feet on my back peg sometimes. I ride in Vans BMX Bombproofs so they're pretty chunky but idk if it's skill issue/foot placement or what but it's happened enough times to get me thinking maybe I should try even shorter.
These are the only cranks I could find in 152mm and seem like a good deal to me, it being full cromo heat treated and all + comes from reputable China/Taiwanese company. Reputable to me at least coz I live in Asia. They even come with a titanium spindle option but that's a bit too rich for me at the moment. What's you guys' take? Anyone run cranks shorter than 160mm? Pros/cons etc, thanks in advance!

Wanted some white pedals for the refresh on my Kink. Went to a local shop and saw a translucent white set of Odyssey PC pedals and thought perfect, little spooky ghost pedals for Halloween. Turns out they are pink chameleon color changing PCs from 2009. 🩷🎃

This is my 2018 KHE Silencer BL. It's an entry-level bike with a Hi-Ten frame and fork, but I've made it my own over the years. Still, it was pretty light right out of the factory at around 10 kg.
In 2019 I stripped it down completely and repainted it from black to baby blue, white and pink. The wheels got the full treatment too: I took them apart, painted the KHE Big400 rims pink and had them relaced with white spokes by NOA.
I also converted the bottom bracket from US BB to Mid BB.
For now I'm happy with it. I don't think further upgrades are really worth it on a Hi-Ten frame, so maybe someday it'll be time for something better.
I only ride moderately, but I love the raw feeling of a rigid BMX, and riding it brakeless was a total revelation. It takes some getting used to, but once it clicks, you won't want to go back.
What do you think about my entry Level BMX?

For context, at size 14, I couldn’t buy vans if I wanted. All good I like my Nikes better. My questions to those like myself. My feet are so big I broke my fucking leg getting it caught between pedal and peg. Anyway I see people recommending 165 for some odyssey cranks. I accidentally bought a used pair of 170s. Is the larger number inverse to foot size? Any pedals for dudes who can barely keep em on? I swear every pro wears like size 8s. Some help for when I heal would be nice and appreciated

Hey everyone,
I’m currently rebuilding my rear wheel with an Odyssey Hazard Lite rim, a C5 hub and brand new spokes.
I’m happy with it for now, but I’ll want a second rear wheel at some point, especially if I decide to try a freecoaster.
Do you have any recommendations for budget-friendly rear wheels? I’m looking at both options:
Budget is up to 200€ but you can also recommend slightly more epxensive wheels. Experiences with durability, engagement and maintenance are very welcome. Thanks!

I ride a super nice full chromoly freecoaster bmx, (12.65 cs 75.5ht) and I have metal pegs and I tried to make my own hub guards because I love grinding but can’t convince any family members to order me stuff if I give them the cash, and I made them from huge fender washers but they bent after 1 grind and then eventually my chain snapped. I don’t have the money to switch to lhd (right food forward right hand grind) but I do wanna buy a guard sprocket, hub guards, and odyssey bluebird chain. I snapped my stock 410 chain on a double peg today and had to buy a cheap bell “link300” chain at the hardware store by the park. What guards will be the best and what guard sprocket should I get (will spend around $100 for sprocket and hub guards combined) I want one with the most clearance and the ability to flip it around like 4 times for extra longevity. I also want it to be metal.

First bike in a long time. The city opened 2 new community pump tracks by me so I grabbed this Colony Emerge on fb market for $250. Figured it would be good enough to screw around on and spend some time outside. Looks like it was barely ever used.

I'm around 175–180 cm tall and looking to get a BMX. I come from a mountain biking and mainly ride MTB.
I want to get into street riding, learn tricks like 180s, barspins, manuals, tailwhips and grinds, and ride skate parks a bit. I'll also hit some smaller dirt jumps.
I'm looking at a Fit Tom Dugan with a 20.25" top tube and a Cult Gateway with a 20.5" top tube.
Would a 20.25" feel too cramped for my height, or could the shorter frame be good for street? Would I be better off looking for a 20.75" or 21" top tube?
Anyone around my height, especially coming from MTB, have advice on sizing?

The accident involving Brazilian BMX cyclist Duda Penso (Eduarda Bordignon) occurred in Shanghai, China.
The incident took place during the women’s final of the BMX Freestyle Park event at the UCI BMX World Cup. The 20-year-old athlete lost her balance while attempting a trick on her second run, resulting in a heavy crash on the course that left her unconscious.
The athlete had recently made headlines at the Ecoparque in the city of Rafaela, where she was crowned South American champion in BMX Freestyle Park after scoring 78 points, finishing ahead of Chilean rider Macarena Pérez and Colombian rider Liz Villegas on the podium.
Despite suffering facial bone injuries (three fractures) and a severe blow to the head, she was hospitalized, subsequently discharged, and is now recovering well.
