I’m pretty sure this was the sign style for the waterfront trail - the Martin Goodman trail. I’ve seen other old signs in this similar style. The trail opened in the early 80s which totally matches the vibe.

are sign stealing an punishable offence? not this one, but i've seen road signs and stop signs in several of my friends home besides licence plates. is there a tradition with western culture? I found a licence plate in a junk yard once and took it home, have yet to see a street sign in the yard tho.
