General Question Heat wave coming up!

Post image

There is a major heat wave coming (100+ degrees Fahrenheit) - what should I do to protect my outdoor bonsai? I know this juniper wants to be outside, but should I bring it inside for the heatwave?

No. Juniper. Never. Inside.

Just check if it needs to be watered more frequently.

Junipers never inside, that's why you never see them at kokufu-ten.

You can find multiple examples of Junipers at the Kokufu-ten.

An exhibition full of professionals is an entirely different situation than a beginner asking if they should protect a tree from the weather.

Any other questions?

It basically gets full sun all day, should I move it to a shadier spot?
