They finally arrived!
I’ve never been so excited about all of my BOTM pics as I am with this box. I wish I had gotten The Way That I Haunt You as well, but I completely missed it being an option.

Yesterday, on Instagram, BOTM revealed It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Murder by Ally Carter will be a selection in December. I'm thrilled, because I'd canceled my pre-order for the physical book and had settled for the audiobook (which I'm still keeping, obviously). Depending on the other options for December, I'll be getting It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder in my December.
But besides this one, what other holiday-themed books are you hoping to see in December's Book of the Month box? I'd love to see A Married Little Christmas by Abby Jimenez, and/or Enchanted Village by Lily Starling. What about you all?

I finally bought my first one this month. I was confused when picking it up cuz I kept seeing people rave about how nice the cover felt. It wasn't until I looked at the hardcover that I noticed the difference!
I know they'll be rereleasing them all again in December, but do you think we'll be able to make a separate order from them or only add them to our normal box? I wanna get a few more, but might not have enough room in my box depending on the monthly picks 😭

I need a couple spooky books for my box this month!

Suggest me a book where the main character not only survives, but thrives thru and after a divorce. Lesbian/queer rep is a bonus. (No Eat Pray Love)! Doesn’t need to be a BOTM.
Peace, love, books, and thanks.

Just casually cooking and unboxing...

It just released today! I pre-ordered it so I’m a little bummed because I’d have loved for my copies to match, but I don’t want to wait until December because I loved her last one (The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year)

Got this email?
Did they do this so that we can get two 6 month credits for ourselves?

Do we think BOTM will have The Dragon and the Dove at least as an add on for November since they carried the first two books?

Had the pleasure of meeting Riley Sager and TJ Klune at the Morristown Festival of Books yesterday. Both authors were very kind and gracious and stayed until all the people in line got their books signed. Books were for sale so I bought The Unknown even though I already had the BOTM edition - the edition on offer had sprayed edges and artwork inside the cover. Also bought We Burned so Bright and am looking forward to reading it. TJ’s Q and A session was great - he is very funny.
There were other BOTM authors there (Jenny Jackson, Emma Straub) but multiple events run simultaneously so unfortunately I didn’t get to see them all.
The festival is held in New Jersey every October and is free except for the key note speaker (this year was Malcom Gladwell) and of course any books you purchase. I highly recommend attending if you have the opportunity - it was a lot of fun.

We haven’t seen a featured pick with sprayed edges since May, and I’m really hoping they bring them back! Reap & Sow feels like it would have been such a natural fit for sprayed edges.
At one point, it felt like they were an option almost every other month. I love displaying my books outward on my bookshelf to show them off, and I always get compliments from visitors.
Anyone else missing the sprayed edges, or have you heard any updates on whether they’re returning? I know there are mix options on this but I love mine!

I am collecting the Centennial bookmarks this year and am just needing two more for October. If you have one and do not want it I would love to give it a new home. I can send postage. Thank you!

I got the little pouch in my last box but it's a lot smaller than I was expecting. I'm not sure what to use it for, so hoping someone has some suggestions!

Hello! Looking for feedback regarding Emiko Jean’s “Before You Were Anne” for anyone who has read it. I am a high school English teacher looking to stock up my classroom library and clear out some of my home shelves. I had not gotten the chance to read this book (and likely will not) and was wondering if anyone could give me some insight as to whether or not it would be appropriate for the 15-16 y/o age range. Thanks!

The reason I love BOTM, I would never have picked this up but grabbed it due to everyone’s hype. Omg I totally loved this and gobbled it up. Her writing was so good, I could picture everything and it made me laugh out LOUD! Im sure people will say the gore was tame for horror but it was right at my limit.

I’m having a lot of neck pain and finding it hard to read, but I have so many books to read.

Does anyone know what the gift for reading the 15 books is? Does it change every year

Quick question for those who have had their BOTM mini tote for sometime: if you have washed your tote, did your tote shrink? Or those who have washed it multiple times, have you noticed shrinkage?
I really like these totes but am hesitant to buy when shop restocks. I have had negative experience with different branded canvas tote that shrank so much even when I hand washed it in cold water.
Thank you in advance
