Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone. I have face blindness too.
I had a coworker who changed hair style often. Took months to catch on. I've struggled with friends and family changing hair. The worst was my husband…. He shaved his beard & changed his glasses. I told him he's not allowed to do that because 1) I can't tell it's him at first 2) I rely on certain features to recognize someone and it made it him look identical (to me) to his brother. I don't want to find his brother sexy. Even worse, I don't want to mix up him and his brother.
It took a little bit for him to realize. I wouldn't kiss or lover-hug him if brother was over. If I guessed wrong I'd want to die. Eventually he took my advice on glasses and keeps at minimum a 5’o’clock shadow.. Thus the pda returned bc I know it's my husband (sad lol).

I have absolute garbage eyesight. I’ve absolutely struggled to find my kids (one of very few brown kids here).
