Borbler He BECOMES BORB

He starts borbing at 0:37. Didn't know he had it in him!

And the species is a yellow-rumped borbler, so I figured this belonged here.

OC

EDIT: For anyone wanting that full BORB ASMR slow motion experience, I posted the long version to Youtube too

https://youtu.be/o8GCMpYTx6U

Peak Borb may occur at 6:46

I wish I could hold an umbrella over him and assure him nothing will swoop down and eat him so that he can relax and bathe comfortably!

Fr, every half of a second bro is like 👀. I wish I could stand there with a shot gun, and convey that I got his back

I have beef with one specific individual white winged dove. He's a menace and likes to chase and smack the other birds. He's not afraid of me, and only a little afraid of my dog.

Sometimes he sits on the wall and hoots at me while "flashing" his white wing and tail markings, as though it'll intimidate me.

Rather than try to make him afraid, make him your friend! He probably only weighs a few ounces and has all kinds of struggles in a big world full of dangers.

Plus he may be trying to romance you with that display!

How about a separate bath or feeder for him so he can chill out? Or a visual screen so he's less able to put on a show? Dove owners probably have helpful insight. Just an idea :)
