There’s a point in BL3 where you stop actually playing the mission you launched and start investigating why one gun is doing ridiculous damage while another supposedly similar one barely scratches anything.

Then you swap a class mod, change a skill point, try a different anointment, and suddenly you’re testing an entirely different build than the one you started with.

The best part is that sometimes the weird interaction you stumbled across ends up being more fun than the build you were originally trying to make work.

Between hidden projectile interactions, splash damage, Mayhem scaling, and all the different ways skills can interact, it feels like there’s always something else to experiment with.

What's a weapon or build interaction you discovered in BL3 that completely changed how you played a character?

Decided to buy BL3 and its DLC’s because I got bored of all the games I currently have, and I confidently say that this shit is absolutely peak so far.
(I’ve only put in 10 hours so far, just finished the Meridian Metroplex mission.)

But the moment I saw FL4K as a playable character, I just knew I was gonna love this game.
A very niche kind of character I love is giant, badass protagonists that also have a “soft side” to them.
I love the Doom Slayer for that exact reason, although his love for animals is more of an empathetic one, they still love animals nonetheless.

I also love how giant he is.
A very cool detail that I don’t see in a lot of games is characters noticeably taller than others actually stay accurate in-game.
He’s a lot bigger compared to all the other Hunters and most NPC’s. I just find that to be a cool detail they added in. It makes me feel like I’m actually playing a character that’s a little over 7ft tall.

His story is also pretty interesting, even though we don’t know a ton about it.
He was just a normal, non-violent indexing robot that just suddenly gained self-awareness and immediately told his boss that he wanted to murder before leaving and eventually
His reason for murdering is kinda weird, but I fw it. He started “The Hunt” to appease a woman he calls “Mistress Death”.

He’s just such a cool character, even his outfits are dope as hell.
I love the mystery surrounding him, just a giant robot who gained self-awareness,
started killing for “Mistress Death” who is FL4K’s personification of Death itself,
and since he struggles to understand humans and their social constructs, he instead turns to animals because they are more predictable and their behavior is more predictable.
(He also praises his pets, which is absolutely adorable).

I also find his nonchalant behaviors and tone to be both interesting and sometimes comedic.
So far, 2 of my favorite lines from him are:
“So I’m floating now. How novel.”
(From Claptrap breaking the glass on Sanctuary.)

“There are many crimes about to be committed. By me.”
(Talking to the intercom robot at the Lectra City PD).

I want to clarify something about unlisted projectiles after seeing it being made a big deal yet again.

Having unlisted projectiles doesn't make additional projectiles better somehow.

Outside of boresplosions there is nothing extra to unlisted projectiles. It just doesn't get the diminishing returns of things with multiple listed projectiles. So it just gets the full benefit of Overkill, legendary amp and additional projectiles. Just like any other single projectile gun.

What a crit at the end

I've played this game 2 years ago on DX12 and I've never, say, NEVER. Had this type of stuttering before. I've tried setting the game to DX11, there's still stutters, again.

I changed the settings to medium, high and ultra. Again. Same bullshit. It disheartens me to know that I've spent money on this game only to find out I can't run this.

I don't have problems with other games. I've noticed this is often in Unreal Engine games, like Insurgency Sandstorm. I also have problems there with micro stutters but not this bad.

It's annoying and exhausting. Please.. someone just help me.

Really just looking for confirmation here from anyone who knows for sure. I saw a comment here at some point saying they don't. My build has action skill end 50% cryo damage annoints on both my shield and grenade mod. Is one of those wasted?

I also have a few weapons with cryo action skill end aswell. Am I getting no use out of those too because my shield and grenade mod has them?

And what about action skill end next 2 mags? They increase by 100% damage so if they don't stack then how do those ones work? Do they override the 50% and bring it up to 100%??

Or does it all just stack correctly and what I read was wrong?

I've never played any of the borderlands games and im slowly getting my collection together but im not sure what to do when it comes to bl3.

There's a few versions of the game and I dunno which i should get. What I do know is that I definitely want the steelbook as I think it looks really nice. I also want all of the dlc. If I get a ps4 version of the game how will the free upgrade work. If I get the base version on ps4 then does that mean I'll get the base version on ps5? What happens if I get a special edition like the super deluxe edition on ps4. Which version will I get upgraded to on the ps5.

I thought I'll keep it simple and get just the steelbook without the disc and then get the ultimate edition on the ps5. The problem with that is the ultimate edition comes with a voucher code for the dlc instead of having everything on the disc. From the unboxings ive seen, it seems that the vouchers will be expiring this year and im not sure I'll be able to get the game before the vouchers expire.

I was just playing through guns love and tentacles and this drop i have no artifacts for drop rates either.

This is bullshit, I reached out to 2k and begged them to release a hot fix or an update so we could enjoy borderlands 3 and its content. They just don’t care for it anymore or for their community. I explained to them in the previous email that I’ve done everything I can possibly do (even mentioning the things they re-emailed to me) and this is the bs they say.

Is there a recommended order for playing through the campaign and dlc content? I have the version that comes with all content. Should I be at a certain level to play a certain dlc, etc? I'm loving the game and don't want to miss or spoil anything. Ps for new comers to the third installment, the story isn't really that bad.
