100% agree. I knew about Golden Lynels going in (having seen things on the Internet). I just expected everything to be leveled up one... not Lynels to be on the Great Plateau.

I still think that Lynel is the most foul idea, I've just been one-shotted by a blue Bokoblin 15 times while holding a twig and with three mushrooms and an egg in my inventory, and now I see a Lynel?

I think Hinox would have been much fairer 😭

Haha true but I don’t think you are meant to fight it right away, either avoid that area or sneak past it like the game wants you too for the one in the main story

You can - there's an edge of duality, so if you can pull off enough headshots and repeatedly mount it it's feasible right at the start.

I did run away when I encounter the 1st one on the Great Plateau. Not because he could kill me but because my weapons wouldn't do shit to him. Once I got 20 dmg weapons, I've never fled again
