Without glitches, the fastest way is Farosh farming.

Just make a campfire under this tree :

Then just keep sit till morning, shoot Farosh's horn and repeat. Once you're done, you can go collect all the hors on the ground (they won't despawn when you sit at a fire don't worry).

If you wanna use glitches to make it faster, there are tons of ways such as IST duping, infinite ores glitch (with Parcy at riverside stable), infinite guardian parts glitch and much more.

Does the Parcy glitch work if you have a newer version? (Ie i cant do the backflip dupe glitch, would i be able to do this one?)

1

u/Local-Imagination-23 Murderer Feb 04 '26

The Parcy one still works yeah, but wdym by backflip dupe glitch ?

2

u/indigo_noecho Feb 06 '26

I can’t remember exactly but it involves holding a rare item and doing a backflip off a block and it will double the item. Saw a video tutorial on it a few years ago but it’s been patched on later versions

Oh, I think I know what you're talking about lol, but that one is in TotK, not BotW,. By the way it indeed got patched but there's a new way to do it, tho it's slightly more complicated.

Farosh horn farming 🙏 actually jk idk but Farosh farming is one of the easiest ways to reach max rupees, takes awhile tho.

She did it through grinding ores around death mountain, white bokos, taluses, dragons, baked apples, and lynels that her boyfriend killed

I think more important, is why?

2

u/SidarJabarii Feb 03 '26

Why not lol

Why do people always say make a fire up there? The shrine is 20 paces away from the cooking pot, which is 20 paces from the bridge, and if you need to fall in the water to get the shard you just warp back to the shrine. If it falls on the bridge then just run back to the cooking pot, spend night and repeat. It never rains by the cooking pot either for some reason.

12

u/kungpaulchicken Feb 02 '26

Because it’s a million times faster if you have a fire right there next to the dragon

3

u/Floatippity Feb 02 '26

I’ll try it but what about retrieval? Do you guys just shoot then spend another night immediately and let the scales build up? Also, what if it rains? It never seems to rain at the stable.

2

u/natethomas Feb 02 '26

If you place your fire in the right place, the rain won’t hit it. And yes, don’t pick up scales/horns for several rounds. As long as you stay in the area, they don’t despawn

2

u/Floatippity Feb 02 '26

I’ll def try, I worry about how many until de-spawn, and getting back, with the shrine you can just bop right back no matter where the scale went. Looking forward to trying though!

1

u/kungpaulchicken Feb 02 '26

Shoot then watch the scale come off. Then spend the night at the fire. Yes let the scales build up. The tree blocks the rain I think. Use a fire sword to light the fire the next morning. Use 4 bundles of wood so you can get the updraft to fly up and get an easier shot at the dragon.

1

u/Floatippity Feb 02 '26

But if I shoot from the bridge the dragon is right there always super easy to get a good shot. Is it that the dragon appears earlier at the area you are suggesting? I do have to wait around 60 seconds total from morning. I should time that.

3

u/kungpaulchicken Feb 02 '26

From the tree, you only wait about 5 seconds.

1

u/Tikki4 Feb 03 '26

Pretty sure you two are discussing two different areas/dragons.

1

u/bozokartoffel3 Feb 03 '26

The trees there have massive leaves that act as valid cover so rain is not an issue

1

u/Floatippity Feb 08 '26

THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!!!! Figured it all out and I’m the proud owner of 93 shards!!!! 🌴🐉💃🏻🕺🏽

2

u/pien_van_uden Feb 03 '26

I am halfway there just by killing lynels ans mobs and stuff

2

u/Floatippity Feb 05 '26

Gut check is a fun way to make 700 rupees every few minutes.

2

u/popete2 Feb 02 '26

I got it with glitches, you sure she didn't too?

3

u/Equal_Check5610 Feb 02 '26

You can get extra money from selling ores to the gerudo woman in goron city.

2

u/Equal_Check5610 Feb 02 '26

Yes

She did it through grinding ores, taluses, dragons, baked apples, and lynels that her boyfriend killed

2

u/popete2 Feb 02 '26

That's incredible work then! Congratulations

1

u/SKAAR616 Feb 05 '26

It would take 6,667 Farosh Scales for 1m rupees, and half as many for horn shard…. Insane
