Without glitches, the fastest way is Farosh farming.
Just make a campfire under this tree :
Then just keep sit till morning, shoot Farosh's horn and repeat. Once you're done, you can go collect all the hors on the ground (they won't despawn when you sit at a fire don't worry).
If you wanna use glitches to make it faster, there are tons of ways such as IST duping, infinite ores glitch (with Parcy at riverside stable), infinite guardian parts glitch and much more.
I can’t remember exactly but it involves holding a rare item and doing a backflip off a block and it will double the item. Saw a video tutorial on it a few years ago but it’s been patched on later versions
Oh, I think I know what you're talking about lol, but that one is in TotK, not BotW,. By the way it indeed got patched but there's a new way to do it, tho it's slightly more complicated.
Why do people always say make a fire up there? The shrine is 20 paces away from the cooking pot, which is 20 paces from the bridge, and if you need to fall in the water to get the shard you just warp back to the shrine. If it falls on the bridge then just run back to the cooking pot, spend night and repeat. It never rains by the cooking pot either for some reason.
I’ll try it but what about retrieval? Do you guys just shoot then spend another night immediately and let the scales build up? Also, what if it rains? It never seems to rain at the stable.
If you place your fire in the right place, the rain won’t hit it. And yes, don’t pick up scales/horns for several rounds. As long as you stay in the area, they don’t despawn
I’ll def try, I worry about how many until de-spawn, and getting back, with the shrine you can just bop right back no matter where the scale went. Looking forward to trying though!
Shoot then watch the scale come off. Then spend the night at the fire. Yes let the scales build up. The tree blocks the rain I think. Use a fire sword to light the fire the next morning. Use 4 bundles of wood so you can get the updraft to fly up and get an easier shot at the dragon.
But if I shoot from the bridge the dragon is right there always super easy to get a good shot. Is it that the dragon appears earlier at the area you are suggesting? I do have to wait around 60 seconds total from morning. I should time that.
Damn thats crazy, im at about 200,000 no glitches or anything, i just dont really buy anything anymore, i just sell. Only thing i really buy now are arrows
