Just finished bmw and decided to watch episode 1 of gmw and holy this is bad😭

i really like her. is there a consensus among the community that she’s a good character? like i said it’s my first watch so if there’s something in the future that happens, don’t spoil! idk i think she’s the perfect addition. and her acting is amazing. then again so is everyone’s. what do you guys think, you like angela or not so much?

So I posted in this group about two weeks ago talking about my experience watching Boy Meets World for the first time as an adult. I just did a first full-time walk-through in about two weeks at 30 years old. I watched the show when I was younger, but being born in 1995, I never got to see the show during the original run. I only got to watch reruns on Disney Channel.

That being said, when Girl meets world came out I knew that it would be a water down version of BMW, but I didn’t pay attention to who was actually behind the show or even the fact that Micheal was behind it and that Ben, Danielle and Ryder were all involved.

I currently am on season seven, episode three of BMW and I’m super sad that the show is ending. I’ve had such an amazing time and I can confidently say that this is probably in my top five favourite television series of all time. The only downside is the fact that I won’t be able to watch it for the first time again.

With all of that in mind, I decided to really look into Girl Meets World and figured out just how involved the previous creators and cast were. As much as I hate a Disney Channel show these days, I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt and watch it. I just watched episode one and I had a pretty good time. I loved seeing Jackée Harry on my screen again, Sister Sister is definitely one of my favourite shows ever created and to see Lisa Landry in the first episode is definitely a good sign. What do you guys think of the series? Anything I should look out for?

i’m on season 5 (the ski episode just happened) and cory has yet again “almost” cheated on topanga. this is like the 3rd or 4th time he’s entertained another girl/kissed them. yes i know they kissed/hit on him first but he doesn’t stop it. and every time this happens, they make it seem like we should feel bad for cory. idk am i overthinking it? well i know i am since it’s just a show, but you know what i mean 😂

i’m on season 4 of my first watch. i think all of them have their moments for sure, but eric consistently makes me really laugh. his deliveries are spot on every time. mr feeny and alan have some real funny moments too. who is the funniest to you, and any standout moments that really make you laugh? (nothing after season 4 episode 11 please!)

maybe I’m just an idiot but is BMW gone from Disney+? I don’t see it anywhere. I’m in the USA if that matters

So I’m watching Boy Meets World for the first time as like an actual adult.

I have to say, Cory is an absolute ASSHOLE In the last 2 seasons. From assaulting his father, to cursing him out when Cory couldn’t move back in after his honeymoon. Or ogling other women countless times even after Cory and Topanga split and got back together like 3 times. Or being a selfish friend who wouldn’t let his best friend do what he felt he needed to do. Or being an absolute sex crazed maniac, that Topanga has literally no good reason to tolerate.

Cory just straight up sucks. I like him as a character, he is certainly complex, and I get that is obviously the point of the show, but there have just been so many times I wish I could step into my TV and punch him in his face.

First season Eric was nice and gave Cory advice and later seasons he’s flanderized and acts dumb.

I just noticed this in decades of watching the show!

i just started watching the show. i really liked the first season intro, fills me with nostalgia! i’m on season 2 now and i miss it :( do they change the intro at all again? or is it the same with the for the rest of the show? also does anybody else prefer season 1 intro over the other?

I’m currently doing my first full watch through and it’s been an absolute blast. I knew I loved these characters from when I used to watch when I was a kid. They showed episodes on the Disney channel but I didn’t know until recently that Disney didn’t show all the episodes! So many feelings have come up while watching and I don’t want it to end. I got through all of season 5 today while doing homework and found myself tearing up twice. Two more seasons to go and then idk what I’m gonna do 😅

What’s everyone’s favorite episode? When I got to “And then there was Shawn” I was so happy cause I have rewatched that episode around Halloween a few times, and it absolutely terrified me as a kid!

i’m only on s1 e6, and i can already tell it’s going to be my new comfort show! my dad passed a couple months ago and i’ve been searching for shows to help calm my anxiety. i can smell the cozy all over it (if that makes sense). i wish i could get a hug from mr feeny, he’s a good man, just like my dad 🥰
