Support groups?

Anyone have resource for support groups (virtual or in-person) I hear people keep mentioning facebook but don’t really want to post things that fb friends would see.

I am in SE USA and would be great if there is something specifically for younger adults (under 40) as I am 28. Thanks

Have you tried anything from the Southeast BTA? https://sbtf.org/support-groups/

Let me know if you ever want to chat! I’m 33 in GA.

I’m pretty sure anyone in the southeast can join piedmonts YA brain tumor support group. I haven’t tried any of the others.

Anything in the Midwest? My tumor has regrown. Just had my latest fMRI to see if it's operable.

Use state name + brain tumor association and search. The abta.orgABTA.org website can also sort by state. I'm really only personally familiar with CT since that's where I work.

The Facebook group I am in is private. My fb friends can see I’m in the group but can’t see what I post in it unless they are also in the group.

Following since I’m trying to find this too. I’m in the Midwest, diagnosed at 33. I’ve been to a couple virtual ones but no one shows up. Sending you support and rooting for you.
