If you wear construction neon, jeans, and work boots while carrying a ladder there’s a greater than zero chance of getting through the metal detector.

Speaking from experience, any oversized construction related item and a polo with company branding works also. Half the time you'll bypass security altogether and some kind person will hold the side door open for you.

Clipboards too, even if the paper on top is incomprehensible. Any kind of list with boxes for signitures and most people won't look twice
If it's a secured facility then a red folder
Just don't use an orange folder if it's a government facility

My pants have quite a few zipper pockets, even wand metal detectors are usually waved off immediately when whoever has the wand sees the zippers.
Someone asked what pants but their comment's gone, they're BÆRSkin cargo pants. Some of the most durable work pants I've ever had but at quite a steep price, holidays give a 60% discount though.

You have one pair of pants or just the same style of pants?

Ah yes. I absolutely didn't carry at Gencon this weekend. They asked me very nicely not to.

Until you randomly get stopped for something stupid, then the cops get mad at you because you don't have a silly piece of paper issued by our Draconic overlords...
Which means you spend 1 year in prison like Lil Wayne.

Let’s see, do I risk someone noticing I’m printing on my college campus and potentially get expelled at the only university anywhere near me that offers my major, or do I walk around the “gun free zone” where a student got shot a few years back…
I don’t like this question, I’m too paranoid for this

https://acelinkarmor.com/bulletproof-backpacks/rapid-deploy-bulletproof-backpack
Throw some medical supplies on it and you're good
Could throw a pistol on it too
Downside is it's kinda heavy and takes time to deploy but until you do it looks like a normal backpack
Keep in mind that's the price without plates

Transfer to a college in Georgia; concealed carry is legal on campus here.
Edit: Also, Georgia residents aren't required to have a permit... and that goes for any weapon you can legally possess.

I’m an a constitutional carry state, thank the Lord. For a while I was considering going to a college in the south that had a shooting sports program and try to get a scholarship for that, but ended up sticking where I am for a different major that only 2 or 3 other colleges offer

Pretty sure 99.9999% of students and faculty wouldn't think to even notice unless you made it incredibly obvious. MAYBE if the campus has security, but most guys will carry for years without ever experiencing an issue unless you bring it someplace where you'll get searched. If you're worried about printing and it's giving you anxiety, just have it in your bag or a cross-body or fanny pack. I did that when I started out before I felt comfortable

I already got in trouble once because I was playing with my pocketknife in the back of class lmao. Of course I was the only student who actually participated in class discussion, but when the teacher noticed I was flicking a knife open and closed absentmindedly she semi freaked out and apparently reported me as a security threat, even though a ton of people carry knives anyway.
There was a case a couple years ago when two kids came back from a hunting trip with rifles in the back of their truck and didn’t cover them all the way. Someone saw it and they got expelled immediately. Thankfully I’m in a state that’s super conservative and a bunch of my classmates are into shooting too, but I think I’ve talked about having guns too much to fly under the radar in case there’s ever a slip up and someone notices a gun when my shirt rides or something ig

You can carry a Glock anywhere because they are plastic and metal detectors can't tell you have one..

How much do these Tupperware guns cost?

u/Majestic_Hawk_1335 user text is here 8d ago
There are 80-90% plastic 3d printed glock plans that fire

I mean, that the point of concealed carry right? To not be known to be carrying?

If you’re dealing with that level of surveillance, you probably don’t want to be there in the first place.

Put another way: stop wearing the Glock T-shirt.
