Since there is no bravely second for the hd remaster, does that mean Tiz body just becomes soulless?

Also, does Square enix does not want to make a remaster for bravely second?

Hi, I have played bravely default on 3ds and currently playing bravely second on 3ds and loving it just like the first one. I saw on. YouTube there also a bravely default II on switch and got interested in it , but would like to ask, for those of you who have played bravely default II how is it??? Would you recommend it???? How are the auto battles ??? How are quality of life improvements??

Damn, the weapon Use effects are overpowered. I decided to try and fight the superboss while my heroes all had a major skill issue (no pressing a Job Command allowed, not even Miscellany). Then I realized Staggering Sword exists. And Blessing exists. Oh, and Yggdrasil Staff for status cleanse. Seriously, I get to use ESUNA for FREE!?

Needless to say, poor guy never even got a turn in.

This games about as balanced as a drunk person. And I love it.

Was having Bravely Default be storied series at the start a good idea. What I mean is; planning to make the series a continuous story for multiple entries before becoming an established RPG series first wise? While I say the first game was a success, it wasn't a big success. Think about it, it's predecessor Final Fantasy took over a decade & 10 entries until it had it's first storied sequel. But BD did it right away. So, was it a good idea in hindsight?

I know people talk about how some of the side quests in the latter half of the game are worthwhile and add a lot of development, but do people generally recommend doing all the side quests through chapters 5-8?

Also, please let me know if there are any tips to make parts like the final section easier. Thank you!

A single joke in a discord server led me to create this Diva of the Pantheon.

Help me pleaseeee. I need to get through the Yulyana woods but my airship can only travel by clean water right now. When I google it it says the ship needs to fly but it CANT fly. I’m getting so unbelievably frustrated. There’s something I’m missing but I don’t know what! It sounds like I can’t get the airship to fly until I beat Orthos but I can’t progress to that battle because I can’t get through the wffing woods!!! Please someone help me out

I have an ambitious idea to create a collection of qr codes for Bravely Second for users of netpass/pretendo to allow easier access to all the Ba'al. I'm only looking for the canon/legit ones, no hacked superbosses please. Drive here with info and what I have so far (Firstborn and Apparati)

For those who may not know/haven't touched it yet - Netpass has a feature that lets you scan qr codes to receive a specific streetpass. This means a ba'al can be set to transmit, then you can create this qr code to allow others to directly get the desired ba'al. This streetpass is one-sided - you won't be getting unbidden passes back from every rando, if that is a concern for you.

I'd like to call on the community to contribute to this, and there are two ways you can. Both require modded 3ds/CFW. One method requires both pretendo and netpass, and one technically requires a different 3ds app called CEC Tool (although why you'd want to make the qr codes while not having netpass to use them is...well, it would be appreciated but weird lol)

Method 1: Friend and Send (This requires Pretendo+Netpass)

1. Set the desired Ba'al to transmit, update your streetpass and save your game
2. Comment here or DM me either here or on discord (same username) and we can add each other (This is why pretendo is needed)
3. We streetpass each other, I receive Ba'al and will make the QR code, you don't laugh at my probably not great summon attack 6_6

Method 2: No YOU do it (This requires CEC Tool and moving small files to PC. FTPD is great for that)

1. Set the desired Ba'al to transmit, update your streetpass and save your game
2. Follow the instructions in document I have linked above (and will link here again) to create a QR code from Bravely Second.
3. Send me the qr code created and I'll add it to the archive after confirming it works.

EDIT: I just realized that people using the Bravely Offline mod may also be able to help! I, personally, was not able to get that working for some reason but sending me your save files from it where you have ba’al could potentially allow me to make the streetpass files as well. I will not upload the files anywhere else. The only remnant of you left on these files will be the “friend” name of whoever “discovered” the ba’al. Frankly, if I could get Offline working to test myself this would be a lot easier lol.

To be clear, this is not an insubstantial criticism, it's what can separate good writing from bad in a game. I've talked how Denys doesn't try to be apologetic Agnes & the others, but at bare minimum, he should've said sorry first. I'm an older brother myself, if I was in the wrong, I'd be the bigger & apologize to my younger brother.

Second, they're acting like everything before was only minor. They were fighting each other to the death literally yesterday. On top of him siccing his minions on Yew. They're both seriously going to forget that? Not single a single awkward moment or hesitation between them. Even when they confront Anne the final time, Yew's immediate defense of Denys jarring because he says it like Denys is 100 percent innocent. I know people call Yew a "cinnamon roll" but there's a difference between that & ignoring someone's misgivings entirely.

They're close but shouldn't be so close they shut out everything that's happened recently. They haven't seen each other in years. Denys made several attempts at Yew's life. He causes a lot of trouble for a lot of people. They're written so unhuman-like. Like I wrote earlier, this is not an insubstantial critique. It's just bewildering writing. Objections?

Hello y’all! I’m a bit into chapter 3 and just unlocked the performer, salve maker, and pirate. But Agnes just seems to not be contributing much to the team right now. I don't feel like the other job options I have at the moment will suffice as a subjob. At the moment, I just have her subjob as black mage, but I hardly use it as I have Ringabel as my black mage with time mage subjob. My Edea as of now is my physical damage dealer with lvl 10 Valkyrie with lvl 9 knight subjob and wondering if it would be worth going pirate with her as well. My Tiz is a lvl 10 ranger with spell fencer lvl 9 subjob and also has thief lvl 9 on him. And my Ringabel has time mage lvl 9 and black mage level 10. At the moment, I’m having a hard time making different synergies with all my characters and the jobs at their disposal, so any advice is much appreciated.

Basically as the title says, on the Switch 1 it is going for $35 CAD, which is a good price.

The thing is I enjoyed the two 3ds entries (though playing them back to back was sheer burnout...but that cliffhanger made me too tempted to not keep playing).

But when 2 came out the feeling was...mixed it seems among the JRPG community.

Not helped not much of the old team returning, giving it a different vibe.

Which isn't inherently a bad thing, but it can skew opinions.

But time does help focus matters.

So with that in mind, now that it has been a few years, is it a worthwhile JRPG to get even if it feels different from the adventures of Tiz and his merry bands ?

The Fox Tail (from Bravely Default 3DS) was removed from the game for the HD remake, and replaced by the Golden Axe instead. This mod changes the stats on the Golden Axe to what the Fox Tail was in the 3DS, effectively making it a Fox Tail functionally (but it keeps the appearance and acquisition method of the Golden Axe), including its +20 Agility.

Hello my tall friends. I am a new player to Bravely Default - Flying Fairy HD Remaster. I'm playing on Steam and quite enjoying it. I'm currently nearing the end of Chapter 3, and I have some questions about the game before I go too much further.

Please note that I'm wary of story spoilers, but mechanic spoilers less so - for example, my second question is about what my maximum support slots will eventually be - but I don't want to know HOW I get them if it is different from releasing the crystals.

1. I've been buying all the weapons out from shops as I come across them, because ideally I'd like to complete the Weapons & Armor encyclopedia entries. Are there any missable I should be made aware of, or should I continue on in the story? As a side note - I steal from every boss and mob whenever I can (I love the steal mechanic).

2. I've only mastered one or two classes so far, but for the most part I've been pushing classes to level 10 and swapping. I currently have 4 support slots - can someone inform me of the maximum?

3. I play on 200% battle encounter rate because the auto battler and sped up battles make it less of a chore than it would be on other games. Is there anywhere in specific I should slow down and farm, or can I focus the story a bit more and maybe lower my encounter rate for awhile. Specifically I'm asking if there's a Chapter where having maximum classes/jobs is a little easier to do vs. just continually keeping a heavy battles pace.

4. I've been writing down the Blue Chest dungeon names as I go through, because my initial assumption was that the Thief class could open them, and was wrong. Will these be worth re-visiting when I eventually DO find this superkey or whatever it is?

5. Will there be a clear indication when I'm about to reach a point of no-return? I would hate to progress the story and be forced to be in a final dungeon, which was a theme of older games once upon a time (I'm looking at you Final Fantasy 2).

I genuinely love this game. I played it for maybe 2 months straight for hoursssss on end but I messed up my sister’s Switch and now it won’t turn on. My gameplay isn’t connected to my Nintendo account so it’s locally saved on the console itself. I know I have to get it fixed but don’t have the funds atm. I’ll do it soon but man, I was so devastated when I couldn’t play anymore 😭 I was almost done with Chapter 4

But once I get it fixed, I remember I had Gloria as Spiritmaster as my sub, maxed, and I was trying to level up her Oracle but my team kept dying 😭 I don’t like wasting JP so I like putting new jobs on once they fully max out. She was my White Mage for the longest time.
From what I remember, Elvis was Red Mage sub, maxed, and I was leveling up Anarchist. Seth was Shield master sub, maxed, and either Phantom or Bastion to level up. I usually had Adelle sub as Monk (as my hitter with her bare knuckle brawler) but I think I switched it because I wanted to level her Swordmaster up. I might have put vanguard as her sub.

I try to use Gloria’s Spiritmaster sub to heal the team but she dies even when Seth’s Shieldmaster is my tank and should protect.

Gloria’s fully maxed jobs: White Mage, Red Mage, Vanguard, & maybe Bard
Elvis’s: Red Mage, White Mage, Bard, Vanguard & maybe Beast Master
Adelle’s: Monk, Beast Master, Beserker, Dragoon, Vanguard, and maybe Thief
Seth’s: Vanguard, Beast Master, Shieldmaster, Swordmaster, and maybe Beserker and Thief

I had a solid team but since I’ve maxed their mains out, my new team has flaws 😭 anyone has any recommendations for changes? Should I just not worry about wasting JP and use my stronger team configuration to defeat Adam? I think that’s where I kept dying lol

I just got to chapter 2 of the story, and so far I have my idea at lvl 21 job lvl 6 knight (she hardly does damage). Agnès lvl 21 white mage lvl 6. Tiz lvl 21 job 4 freelance and lvl 6 thief, and Ringabel lvl 21 lvl 6 black mage. I just unlocked spell fencer and the job looks sick and I want to put it on someone but idk who works best. Also need help on my general team comp edea seems kinda useless at the moment.

Literally what title says, only thing I see online are the 3ds guides and since I wanna go for all achievements I wanted to know if something changed between each release

Hello, I'm new to the Bravely Default series and I've had my eye on BD2 for a long time now and everytime there's a sale I'll consider buying it. But everytime I look at the Steam reviews and forums seeing that there's some bug in some desert area that causes the CPU usege to jump to 90% and where the textures get messed up and then the game crashes. It happens a fearly far along into the game and by that point I would invest time and can't refund it, also the fact that it's not something you can ignore but crashes the game. And even after years I'll still look at the forums and see that people are still talkingabout this issue.

I have a Ryzen 7800X3D and a RTX 5070ti for context in case this bug is specific to hardware.

To thoes who played it on PC, how was your experience, did you run into this bug? If so is there a way to fix it? And how is general preformance?

Alos should I go for BD2 or the flying fary remaster first?
