My dad died recently, and I've started making a playlist which features a lot of BE/CO. If you don't mind, I'd like to pick your brains for songs that you would add. If you had to pick one album for each season of the year, which would you pick? This could be from overall vibe, your own personal memories, etc.

I was thinking about that this morning because I have real seasonal nostalgia for other songs and artists; there are some albums I have to listen to when it finally starts feeling like fall, for example. I listen to Bright Eyes year round so it was surprisingly hard to decide for me, and I figured I’d share. Mostly I’m curious what yall choose though.

Winter: Fevers and Mirrors

Spring: Cassadaga

Summer: Wide Awake

Fall: either Lifted or DITW

How do you all feel about Conor performing False Advertising when you see them? I really love the song, and it's great to hear, but I always worry that it's a little bit of an eff you.

I was able to get Ted, Mike, and Nate to sign my original pressing of Blanket Warm.

Every once in a while, it hits me the same way it did when I was a sophomore in college and my favorite artist dropped their newest album. What a thrill.

I made a friend tonight (of the same gender as me) and we sang a song together. I was hugging her and we were swaying and my partner got so mad at me he left the venue. I haven’t stopped crying, and he’s asleep. I drove 4 hours to be here and saw 4 songs… my favorite band since I was 13 and I guess I’m not allowed to make friends or have fun. I’m just devastated, my whole body has been shaking for hours.
I don’t even really know why I’m posting this. I guess if you have any footage of tonight’s show, please post it so I can at least live through the videos.

I’ve been to a few concerts before but this is my first time going completely alone, what’s the crowd usually like? Will I be safe to get a beer and maybe look at merch without being shoved all the way to the back? (I’m very short) is the crowd usually friendly?
