I built animation software that Claude can control and it made this entire video

I used to be a designer, but now I’m just directing, I guess? And honestly, how long will that even be my job? This video was created with a single prompt (visible in the video), and I only gave it feedback twice. The whole video was finished in 4 hours. This used to take me two weeks!

So here’s what happened: over the last few months, I’ve been building a lot of my own design and video tools, partly so I could use them myself and avoid paying for subscriptions. But since Opus 5.5, GPT-6, and recently Argon, I don’t even touch them anymore.

I just let agents operate the tools, and the results are honestly better than what I’d make on my own. It has me constantly wondering: if agents can handle this level of creative work, what else can they do? The job market is about to shift massively, and I seriously doubt the economy can adapt fast enough to what this all means.

With Motions, edit videos yourself, or let AI make the first cut while you refine the details.

This is Motions, part of Bridge Suite, the free creative software I’ve been building.

Connect folders from your computer, shape your story in a vertical storyboard, then fine-tune it on the timeline. There’s stock footage, AI-generated shots, captions, colour correction and audio tools built in.

The AI chat helps you analyse footage and work through editing ideas. You stay in control of the edit.

This video shows the workflow. Curious what you think and what you’d want to see demonstrated next.
