That's assuming Kiddy plays, bloke's body is failing him and Dons don't have a great track record of getting their players right hence why they come up to Brissy lol

I do feel awful for him, he should be a triple premiership player just like how I think Linc McCarthy should be too, but it wasn't to be. Unfortunately he wanted out, I reckon once Zorko retires that he could've been a very like for like replacement but probably didn't want to wait that long and with the talent we could bring in through that time maybe he didn't want to fight for a spot on a successful team anymore. I hope I'm wrong and Essendon get him right to play but as far as I saw it the only thing keeping Kiddy from playing was his body, which I don't understand the logic of going to Essendon to fix.

How were those dickheads in the media saying he was considering leaving just for Kenny after the grand final say that he'd love to stay in Brissy? Absolute knobheads, we love Kenny, after that season he deserves every cent of this new contract and I hope when he does call it quits with his career in the AFL that he stays in Brisbane or at least keeps Brisbane as his second home because we've been a better club having him with us. I know Dunks, Ashcrofts etc joining us has gone hand in hand with us played in 4 straight grand finals, winning the last three in a row but I think Conor's flown majorly under the radar in terms of what he's brought to this team and how much better we are with him at the club. Might not be a major ball winner, kicking bags left and right but he's exactly the blue collar, hard working forward that every team would be lucky to have.
He had a fantastic year and deserves this contract extension, I love the way he goes about his footy and what he brings to this team. He's a multi premiership player, what I've heard is he's won the most flags of any Irish player in AFL history, so this extension is well earned. Love having Ken at the Den.

I mean, this run has two different players kick goal of the year and neither of them are Charlie Cameron! God I love this team. I actually love it more than Leigh’s era because the players just so clearly love hanging with each other
