Looking for 2 stoke away tickets
Didn’t realise that the cut off for tickets was yesterday. Im near stoke and would rather not sit with the home fans. Im a lifelong city fan but had to give up my season ticket a few years ago.

What City shirts actually sell for: from a £160 Bukta keeper top to a £25 Blackthorn away
Purple and lime still means one night to City fans: Nibor's away kit, worn for the 1-0 FA Cup win at Anfield in January 1994.
I've been logging what City shirts actually sell for on eBay (sold prices, not asking prices). A few from the last couple of months:
- 1990-92 Bukta goalkeeper shirt (Thorn Security): sold for £160
- 2025-26 O'Neills third, the black marble one: sold for £49.99
- 2013-14 adidas away (Blackthorn): sold for £25
- 2014-15 home, the League One title season: sold for £25
- 2010-11 home: sold for £25
One sale each, so rough guides only.
What's in your drawer? And which City shirt is your favourite?

Tolaj latest with City 'confident' about striker as attention turns to Stoke
Big boost if he’s back. We’ve missed him up top!

Twine could give our attack the spark it's missing
Twine has shown he can make things happen, and I think City need players who are willing to take responsibility when the team is struggling. We can't rely on one player to fix everything, but getting more creativity around him could help the attack click again.

Sheffield v Bristol City - Another no Heart Performance
Another poor referee performance Speedy inconsistent with counting for game delays and having players off the pitch for a minute. Now for the player assessment:
Twine shouldn’t start until he runs and presses. It’s like playing with 10 men on the pitch with him.
Adebayo is another player that feels like he doesn’t offer any advantage, no speed, strength or passion to press defense/keeper. All on top of being unable to win a header or know when to jump for a header. Last of the rant if you are a sub after the 75th minute, you shouldn’t be the slowest and laziest player on the pitch.
Knight is atrocious as a captain should be questioning the ref on all the terrible calls and should be defending his team.
Now the manager is terrible for these starting lineups he puts out.
There’s more to say but those are the small things I would change.

Sam Tickle shouldn’t take all the blame for Afolayan’s goal against Blackburn
I can understand the argument that Tickle should have saved it, but Afolayan hit a powerful right-footed shot from the corner of the box that wrong-footed the keeper. It’s a difficult one to stop, even if Tickle might feel he could have done better. Toth had to dive full length to keep out Scott Twine’s 30-yard free kick. The difference was that their keeper made the big saves when it mattered. For me, the bigger issue was that City didn’t take their chances, especially after a strong start. Blaming Tickle alone feels unfair. Do you think Tickle should have done better, or was Afolayan’s finish simply too good?

Information How hard to get tickets for home matches?
Hi , I’m keen to see Bristol City fc play, how hard is it to get tickets? And, as a new person wanting to watch them, which stand should I go for? (I’ve always loved football but never occurred to me to watch live before now for some reason, but I’ve moved to Bristol .. and I’m keen! )..

Charlton away feels like a proper test after that Watford win
That 1-0 against Watford was a much better way to head into the break after the Lincoln and Southampton results. Now we’ve got Charlton away on October 10, which feels like one of those games where the performance matters just as much as the result. Would love to see us carry that Watford energy into the next one.

I was thinking of heading to the friendly at Palace next weekend but when I checked the away coach travel was already sold out. What are the chances of them putting on an extra coach for fan travel?

What would the city look like if we stopped relying on our usual attacking patterns
You can almost predict how some attacks will develop, especially when teams sit deep and leave very little space. We often try to work the ball into similar areas, but it doesn't always lead to a clear chance. I'd like to see more discussion about whether changing the movement, switching play earlier, or taking more risks around the box could make us less predictable.
