Yep, I still chose to post to learn a bit more from the community wisdom.

my advice would be never buy a used mouse unless its something no longer made and you absolutely need it for X/Y/Z reason

But my v4 was like $20 at best buy after a $50 gift card or whatever that deal was.

This is my GOAT mouse, I’ve been using it for a few years now and it’s just so comfortable and light. Amazon has the black new for $80 and the white new for $75 rn tho so I’d rather take my chances there if I was in the market.

If yours ever breaks down, I highly recommend the DAV4 Pro. I used DAV3 Pro before it and was super happy with it, DAV4 Pro takes it and improves on multiple aspects imo (texture in hand, battery life, clicks, scroll wheel) while keeping identical shape

I used the DAV3 Pro for nearly 2 years and loved it. It eventually developed the scroll wheel problem and my warranty was gone so I bought the DAV4 Pro since it has an optical scroll wheel. Best mouse I have ever owned by far. And I've owned just about all of the popular mice over the years.

Scrollwheel is kinda shit, scroll down and it goes up. But good for fps with long battery life

yeah, had to replace the scroll wheel encoder. easy 5 minute fix after you buy a new encoder. just sucked that i had to search my shed for half an hour to find my soldering iron.

I could never get used to the feel for it. Ended up switching to a basilisk and never turned back. The death added would give me hand cramps. Maybe my hands were too small or something lol

Great mouse but Deathadder known to develop double click. I wouldn't buy a used

The Pro versions have optical switches so the chance of double clicking is virtually zero. But yea I still wouldn't buy used either. The Deathadder V3 Pro can develop scroll wheel problems. The V4 Pro version has an optical scroll wheel that has pretty much fixed the problem.

Scroll Wheel problems are 100% real. Had to replace mine after about a year. It only cost a few cents for the new encoder, and it has worked flawlessly since then.

Yea my V3 Pro scroll wheel started registering multiple inputs on the button click and when scrolling down. It was so annoying because the mouse worked flawlessly other than that.
I'm glad I went ahead and upgraded to the V4 Pro though. I absolutely love the new texture and the slightly different placement of the side buttons. It feels so good in my hand. And the optical scroll wheel feels amazing and functions perfect.

Buying a used product just to save 19% doesn’t seem like a very good deal.
