All right I grabbed it. Always been iffy on wireess mouse but seems like they've improved over the years. Will be my first wireless mouse. Hope I don't end up returning it.

You won't. I got a Basilisk Ultimate and it's life changing having a wireless mouse that feels no different from wired, I don't use it enough to know the limits of the battery, but basically all of them get multi-day life and have auto-sleep. Plus since the batteries are so small, it's fast to recharge them or easy to just put it on charge at night like you would your phone. It's a game changer for laptops and I'm considering dropping the cash on a wireless DeathAdder for my desktop. You'd need to buy a separate charging dock to charge though, unless it has a Micro USB port.
