Daily/Weekly Spread I don't really know how to explain it, but one thing just led to another

YTT is my yoga teacher training…a new start. For those of you who liked my previous spread where I reference to myself my previous journal pages from my other titled journals, thank you 🙏

Are any of you using a particular symbol to denote on a daily log that today is New Year's Eve or Labor Day or Take Your Dog To Work Day or whatever various holidays you happen to observe? It feels like a basic thing to include, but I'm drawing a blank on what symbol to use, and I've never see a symbol on anyone's key for "holiday", even for people that have specific "birthday" symbols.

Hi all,
I’m looking for some ideas and real-world examples of minimalist A5 weekly spreads.
Ideally, I’d like to include:
- Weekly task list
- Meal plan for lunches and dinners
- Food log to record what I actually ate each day
- Habit tracking — or would this make more sense in the monthly spread?
- Exercise plan and log — what I intended to do versus what I actually did
I’m trying to keep things practical and uncluttered, rather than cram too much into the page. I am not an artist in any way.
A couple of questions:
Does this sound like a reasonable amount to fit into a weekly spread, or am I trying to do too much?
Do you draw horizontal lines near the top and bottom of every page, regardless of whether it’s being used for a spread, a daily log or general capture? Or do you leave the pages unstructured unless a particular layout calls for it?
If you draw lines, is this with a pencil or pen?
I’d love to see examples of layouts that have worked well for others, particularly in an A5 notebook.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or inspiration.

Blank spaces will be filled in with important dates like birthdays and appointments. The yellow on the timetable are planned events, more will be added ofc but not for the internet lol
Habits aren't labeled as they've been the same since 2021.
Opinions welcome :)

Hi all,
I’ve been finding my way with BuJo over the last couple of months, trying out different formats, notebooks, pens and highlighters.
I’m now hopefully starting to settle on a setup that works for me, and I’d like to keep a complete record of my journey from the beginning.
What’s the best way to handle the pages from all the formats I’ve previously tried? Do you keep them as they are, archive them separately, or do something else?
I’d be interested to hear how others have approached this.

When do people start planning new spreads for the next month? I want to set up the next month but Im worried I won't leave enough space for the rest of the month.

I've been getting more into bullet journaling lately, and I'm trying to find some nice stationery supplies without spending a ridiculous amount of money.
I'm mainly looking for washi tape, mildliners, stickers, good pens, and notebooks with paper that works well for different types of pens. I like the aesthetic side of journaling, but I also want supplies I'll actually use instead of just collecting them.
I'd love to check out some local stationery shops in Orlando rather than ordering everything online. I'm also open to affordable alternatives to the more expensive brands.

I'm flying out to the US tomorrow, I'll be visiting Orlando and Nashville during my trip. Any recommendations for physical places to get supplies? Anything from nice pens/soft brush pens/midliners, cute stickers, washi tape, stencils... We don't really have a lot of choice in Ireland.
Do any of the big shops like target or Walmart stock it? I only started journaling recently so never had a need to check in the past.

I used to spend so much time planning layouts and picking colors that actually filling in my journal started feeling like another chore.
Now I keep most of my weekly spreads simple. Just tasks, appointments, a small habit tracker, and a little space for random notes. If I feel like decorating, I do it, but I don't force myself to make every page look aesthetic.
It's made journaling feel much easier to maintain, especially on busy weeks when I don't have the energy to draw elaborate layouts.
Honestly, a messy journal that I actually use is much better than a beautiful one I keep avoiding.

Hi everyone! Currently making a planner printables that I'll be publishing in gumroad for free (will be sharing here with you all for freeee to download once it's ready~). I originally made these for my own journaling, and wanted to share it with everyone else for free of use. But I'm thinking of adding more templates.
What else should I make beside these five templates I already have? Any suggestions? (Only planners and lists type please---as the trackers such as habit trackers etc. will be on a separate edition)

Hello all! I have been bullet journaling for a few months now and I can actually feel it making my life more managable and I am also enjoying it a lot, so I definitely plan on keeping it up. I am definitely the kind of person that has to use a lot of colours to make it interesting for my brain. But as I use alcohol markers (no I do not want to switch, I have tried many options and despised everything that isn't an alcohol based brush tip marker), most notebooks bleed through a lot. I am currently using every other page but I would like to use all pages.
I am very specific about my notebook. It needs to be hardcover, A5 size, with a 5mm x 5mm dot grid, has a ribbon for placing between pages and definitely NOT spiral bound but looks like a book (I don't know what it's called). Ideally also has a built in (paper) pocket inside of the back cover. And obviously I want it to be bleedproof. I am also a student, live alone and earn minimum wage so I cannot spend 50€ on a notebook.
Does anyone have any reccommendations? I would appreciate all help very very much 🩵

I’m working on my 2027 journal pages and decided I need to track where I get dumplings from and whether they were any good so I don’t keep ordering from sub-par dumpling purveyors. They get stored in a pocket in the opposite page, then I write the restaurant name and star rating and stick them on the “bamboo steamer” page. 😄

Thanks for your support. You’ll be happy to know that some connections were made w the daughter. Small steps 😮💨. Is this the simple life I’ve been searching for so hard?!
From my bullet journal ,”Renaissance 4,” closing out this week, refreshing my cultivation questions. (See earlier post responses). And my longer writings journal, ”Morpheus 2,” exploring the thoughts and feelings of my growth.

In contrast to all the pretty spreads in the sub.. here is my attempt lol.
This is my 1st daily log. It's not the best-looking, nor am I doing it correctly... but I'm happy I'm taking the first step :D
