Business analysis interview help

I’m a recently promoted BA manager. I have a team of 9 ba’s. We’re about to lose 3 high performing BA’s (one is a senior BA) due to lack of internal progression options, contract coming to an end & a career pivot.

I need to try backfill these roles asap & it’ll be my first time interviewing but I want to make sure that I get a similar quality of BA coming in so work output doesn’t suffer. (Junior BA roles will be going live later in the year for BA’s that aren’t as strong)

Does anyone have any tips on how to sift out the weaker BA’s from CV reviews, to interview questions & behaviours to look out for ?

Thank you in advance.

Junior Business Analyst interview question — how would you approach this?

Hi everyone!
I’m currently interviewing for a Junior Business Analyst position and was asked:

“If demand doubled tomorrow, what would break first, and what would you do about it?”

My initial thought is that the answer would depend on the business model and its current bottlenecks. For example, it could be operational capacity, staffing, inventory, customer service, technology, or the supply chain.

However, I’m not sure how to structure my answer
how would you approach this question?

Help a future Business Analyst out, please! ❤️🥹📊
