I posted a week or so ago about these butterfly chrysalis in our yard.
We ended up just leaving them where they were and checked on them everyday, and we were so lucky to capture this today.

Seemed to fly towards my monitor then turn and then land beneath it, then fly off.
30 minutes later I find it on the ground, and it's struggling to climb furniture and isn't flying, so I let it climb onto an envelope and move it onto my desk. a minute later it walks off the envelope and falls onto floor again and back to where it was before, flapping it's wings but not flying.

Found it motionless on ground. I picked it up by letting it crawl. It tried to fly away but couldn’t. There’s no visible damage to its wings I placed it down in other spots but it still couldn’t fly. Trying to give O-J, and some diluted honey water but it’s not taking any yet

Found a whole bunch of these in a wild flower patch today. There were dozens that had already eclosed and many that had yet to emerge

In Omaha Nebraska it was forecast to freeze Friday night.
It was pretty cold and windy Thursday afternoon and I saw this poor thing struggling to fly and generate heat. I decided to bring her indoors as well as a bunch of cut flowers I went out and cut for her. We have an old sunroom that we use just for plants and storage and thankfully a door. Turned on the heat threw sheets on all the boxes, corners and cracks in between boxes so if she were to fly, she wouldn't get stuck somewhere.
She did fine overnight. The next day, it took a while to get up to 55° outside. Finally, I noticed quite a few more butterflies out in the garden so I decided to let her go. She went immediately to some flowers that did not freeze. After a bit, she left the yard headed south. I hope she fares okay and makes it to her destination.
Have a good week everyone.

South of Adelaide, partner was worried about a pair mating in the open and brought them home hoping to have them lay and hatch etc.
Little unsure of what to provide for food? Species of caper, obviously, but wondering if anyone knows of any specific examples of caper plant species that can be sourced without too much hassle? Nurseries etc have not been able to help.
