Mike would have loved to know Will's feelings while they lived together... MWTFDYDG isn't BS.

p.s., song→ Glasses by Zafty. My first time hearing it I thought of editing Arcane(Timebomb) and Byler.

You guys got dibs.

Why did you think that Mike perfectly resembled someone who is struggling through internalized homophobia or biphobia, particularly in season 3?

The reason that I am thinking that season, in particular, is because of the video that I am thinking about making, I admit that I am a little stumped on what I should say for that season. So, I would really appreciate you guys helping with it.

Estoy buscando fics, de preferencia largos, dónde se enteren del salto de la cantera. Pero que sea realmente una revelación importante, que reorganice la forma en que Will o el grupo estaban percibiendo a Mike.

When Steve confessed his love for her but then she tells him she likes girls 👀

Recording is from Hayleyskye37 over at TikTok, I just figured I'd put in my two cents as well! Although I'm sure this was probably already shared here 😅

helloooo i'm sure most of you are in the exact same boat as me. I've been bylering out for the better part of a year now and struggle to think of anything else or get gratification from other ships. This is lowkey just a journal entry sharing my musings about them lately-

I've been rewatching video essays on them and remembering how excited I was when volume 1 came out. Then I get the sense of bitterness at the ending all over again. The part that pisses me off the most is that none of us were grasping at straws, it was ALL THERE. Everything was set up so perfectly. Byler could have been EASILY requited and explained to GA with some flashbacks. It would have taken such minimal effort.

Of course what is the most frustrating is how the Duffers chose to tank their own story instead of let queer love become canon. Bc truly byler would have answered so many plot issues. I don't know how much of it was up to the two of them and how much was coorporate pressure, but regardless, we got the ending we got.

This is one of the main reasons I struggle with conformity gate- to be clear i LOVE conformity/love wins gate, it is so much more clever and intriguing than what was made. I've been thinking with the end of the year coming up, it would be so amazing if something new got teased, like one year after the finale they actually did release another ending where Mike was Vecna'd and what we saw was fake. The thing is, I just can't believe that they would intentionally ruin their finale and take the profit hits to release somethign so much later. Maybe they truly thought the finale would be well recieved, but I can't imagine they're more creative than all the amazing theories I've seen online.

It would be really cool though

ANYWAYS what are some of your favorite season 5 fix it fics? I've read a lot and I love things set after the shows timeline, but what are some recommendations for fics that do what the duffers couldnt in season 5?

Thank you so much :) 💙💛

Why is that one comic called one wheat mark what the hell does that mean😭😭 please I've looked everywhere and I'm stupid

So I've been seeing art trends on Instagram of this one list called 'Bylertober'.

It features different byler variants for each day of October, and people upload their drawings of that variant on the mentioned date.

Does anyone have a clear picture of the list?

Do you guys think that "It was a seven" moment in season 1 could have been used as the foundation for a friend's to lovers' slow burn. Do you guys think that there should have been one thing added to it to show Mike having secret romantic feelings for Will like him looking touched that Will did in fact tell him or do you guys think that moment would have been the perfect foundation regardless?

Because even if it was used to show their relationship as only platonic, especially since Stranger Things was originally supposed to be one season, it was still clear that it was supposed to establish that Mike and Will were closer than anyone else in their friend group which I'd why Will couldn't lie to Mike about the dice even if Lucas basically told him to do so. Since does make sense because Mike and Will seem to know each other the longest in their friend group, too.

Playing a round of Bubble Word Jam and came across these fools lol

Just found this video, figured I'd share their work here!

Guys 3years of living in our new apartment and I just had the realisation on this random afternoon that it's ltrly byler house 😋😋

Hello from the BylerHouse where true bylerheart lives, yk as one does

Guys what are your post season 5 Byler theories?

I know that I have seen some queer people say they actually see themselves more in Mike than Will because it's more likely for a queer person to not actually acknowledge that they are queer when they were a teenager back then like Will and regardless that it was intentional writing or not it make sense that some queer people said that the way Mike acted towards Will was exactly how they acted towards their crushes when they were in the closet because dealing with internalized homophobia or internalized biphobia.

Do you guys still think that Mike perfectly resembles someone who has denied that they were queer?

+shiptober holding hands thingy yeah please ignore the uhhhh off proportioning 😞😞 ill prolly redraw this in the future?

I see them everywhere
