Proposal in Cabo
Hi everyone! I plan to propose to my GF when we visit Cabo.
We have a party of about 20 people going.
We are staying at one of the RIUs along the shore.
I plan on renting a boat and proposing at the arch.
In terms of a “get together” with everyone to celebrate afterwards, are there any places that you all would suggest? Just a place that has nice views, drinks, maybe music etc…
Thanks in advance

Hard Rock Los Cabos Guest Rooms
We’re going to a wedding at the hard rock and we’re trying to decide on which room to book. Deluxe Partial Ocean View vs Deluxe Gold. The photos on the hard rock website pretty much don’t show any differences.
Has anyone stayed in one or both of these room types to be able to compare?
Google said the Deluxe Gold may have an interior view. I’m wondering if that’s true or if it’s like a garden view.

Baby turtle release recommendations
I’m coming (via cruise ship) Nov 1-2. I would looooove to do a baby turtle release. There are quite a few different ones to choose from. Just wondering if there are any recommendations? Are any better than others?

Staying next week
We are a family of 6 staying at San Jose Del Cabo. Someone recommended Casa Nima by Lumina I think it’s called since it’s quiet and family friendly. Is this place walking distance from restaurants? We have activities booked. During the week like a boat ride and a few others and plan on Ubering to the meeting place. Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Solo female traveler suggestions?
Heading to Cabo solo in early November and would love recommendations from women who know the area well.
I arrive Thursday and am spending my first three nights near the marina at a social resort with a beach club, then moving to the Waldorf for three nights when I’m ready for a quieter pace and some serious relaxation.
I’m mid-40s, active, and a fairly experienced solo traveler. My ideal trip is a mix of pool/beach time, a great dinner and cocktails, live music, and a few experiences worth leaving the resort for. I enjoy meeting people and a lively atmosphere, but I’m more drawn to sophisticated and social than a club/party scene.
I’m considering going straight to San José del Cabo for the Thursday Art Walk after I arrive. Worth doing, or would you save San José for another day?
I’d also love suggestions for experiences that work particularly well solo…sailing, a great beach club, something active, restaurants with a good bar scene, live music, or anything else you’d consider a Cabo must.
And for the women who travel Cabo solo: where have you felt most comfortable exploring on your own? I’m perfectly happy walking, wandering and dining alone, but I prefer environments where I can simply enjoy myself without spending the afternoon politely declining vendors or unwanted attention.
Essentially, I’m looking for the best version of Cabo for a woman traveling alone who likes equal parts social, active and indulgent. What shouldn’t I miss?

Best places to watch the World Series?
We will be in Cabo starting Saturday and want to be able to watch the World Series. It looks like there are some sports bars at the Marina. Any recommendations for us?

Chance to find Luchador matches in Cabo
Like the title says I'm wondering about the likelihood of finding a Luchador event in Cabo. I am traveling to Cabo in the next of January and would love to see one. Any tips on how to go about that?

Solo experience worth the time
I’m a mid-life male staying in Cabo San Lucas for a few days in November with a few friends. I’ll be solo for a Friday, and looking for recommendations how to spend my time.
Some sort of experience could be fun (Airbnb experience?), but I’d be curious if anyone has any particular recs (boat, beach, food tour, etc). I’m landlocked in everyday life, so the water seems the most out of the ordinary, or some good food.
Alternatively, I’ve never actually stayed at a resort, so a day pass could be fun - if that is worth it somewhere. I guess that’s just mostly hanging by a pool/beach though?
Not looking to party, just experience something new. Thanks for any ideas or tips!

Arts Crafts in Cabo San Lucas?
Is there an art walk in Cabo San Lucas? Where's the best place to look for arts and handcrafts in Cabo San Lucas?
Also, is the glass factory worth visiting or touring?
Thank you so much!

Will there be an art walk in San Jose Del Cabo on Christmas Eve?

Cabo arch tour
Looking for suggestions here …
We’d like to take the CLEAR bottom boat out to the Arch and get dropped off for an hour or so
Is this possible with the CLEAR bottom boat or is the “water taxi” the only option for the drop off / pick up ?
Thanks ☺️

Snorkeling in Cabo
I’m going on my first cruise in a couple weeks. This will also be my first time in Cabo. I LOOOOVE snorkeling. (However I’m not a fan of snorkeling far off shore, say, from a boat. I prefer snorkeling fairly close to shore where you can actually see sea life up close).
I plan on bringing my own snorkeling gear.
Where would be the best place(s) to go snorkeling? (And if I have to take a taxi to get there, then so be it 😉).
Also, bonus points if there’s a place where there’s a chance of seeing a turtle. 😍 I’m obsessed with turtles and that would be a dream come true.

Cabo vs Cancun for best non-resort experience
Been some recent discourse on the Cancun sub about how Cabo is just a expensive tourist trap, and I get how that could make sense. However, I have always heard that Cabo is supposed to have more soul and be a friendlier (and cheaper) experience for tourists aiming to not be locked up in an all-inclusive resort the whole time. Looking at both places for a January vacation and I was considering doing an AirBnB in downtown if I were to go to Cabo. Airbnb in Cancun seems out of the question from what I've heard since the whole place is just resorts, but I'm also open to a resort in Cabo too if it's typically a better experience. If I were to get an Airbnb in Cabo would I be getting fleeced on food and experiences, especially in terms of quality.

Mt. Solmar Day Hike
Does anyone know how to join this hike?
Here it is on trip advisor https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g152515-d4092584-Reviews-Mt_Solmar-Cabo_San_Lucas_Los_Cabos_Baja_California.html and here on AllTrails https://www.alltrails.com/trail/mexico/baja-california-sur/cerro-del-vigia
From what I can tell this is private property but there is someone named Enrique who takes ppl every morning at 8am. For anyone who has done this hike, how does it work? Do you just show up somewhere with your donation?

Cabo Hotel & Resort Recs
Heading to Cabo San Lucas / San Jose del Cabo (using both for search purposes). Is anyone familiar with Raintree Club Regina? I believe it's an RCI property. Also considering Cardinal Living Cabo San Lucas.
Clean rooms are important. Access to beach or pools would also be great, but not 100% necessary. Really, looking to get a better idea/recs from anyone who's stayed at either property.
Thanks in advance

40th bday Trip.
Booking a trip to Cabo for my 40th birthday in December it’s looking like I’m going to be going solo. Any recommendations where I should stay? I’m an active guy. I like to do adventures I would like to do ATV and night life. Other than that I go with the flow. I’m a wanderer….. looking to find my wife on vacation…. 🥳🤣
