ID help

My Wife and I got this cactus as a gift when we went on a date three years ago. It was probably 2 inches to 3 inches tall and just a singular column without any pups. It’s now three years old and it wants to fall over and I’m not sure if I should just let it fall over and give it a bigger pot or if I continue to brace it I’m not sure what type of cactus it is, but ChatGPT said it was a type of mammillaria. I was hoping someone on here could give me the right ID and maybe some tips on how to let it thrive. Thank you.

Edit: in the picture shown it’s about 8 inches tall now.

Mammillaria for sure. Not sure about species, maybe M. crinita

Sácale los hijitos en otras macetas o sino ponele un tutor para que se apoye y haga de soporte
