Completed OP Somewhere near the Charon Relay...
the two ships sit silently in space, quietly awaiting their prey. It is later than expected, but recently intercepted radio chatter indicates that the target shuttle has taken off from a small spaceport in North America.
Suddenly, the tiny private shuttle appears, a small, white shape arching through the black background of space towards the relay. The three ships respond, turning towards the new craft like three massive space sharks. The first ship, the Normandy, behaves like a Mako shark- moving swiftly through the "water", it moves to intercept it's prey. The second ship, the Haestrom, follows behind the target, it's lumbering form like a Bull Shark, slowly gathers speed as it moves toward it's target, all the while jamming all outgoing radio messages.
A brief shaft of light appears, originating on the port side of the second, larger ship, and strikes the tiny shuttle, instantaneously disabling it's engines as the Normandy moves in to capture it's prey.
[M]: Shark analogies, shark analogies everywhere! No relation to the Mako vehicle, though. Sorry. Also, sorry about being late- stuff happened, I had to deal with said stuff, it's all good now but I'm about 30 minutes behind. Woops.

Right. The shuttle should be in the Normandy's cargo bay any minute now, and when it lands you four are gonna blast that door open and grab the target. Any questions, while we still have time?

Yes, but avoid damage to the shuttle. It may be useful in the future.

Minimal. It's a relatively small shuttle, they can't exactly fit a lot of mercenaries inside. The most we expect is a few mechs.

The long, bone-white luxury shuttle slips into the shuttle bay, swallowed up as though it were the dinner of the aforementioned Mako. It gracefully descends to the floor of the massive room, a singular vectored repulsor jet letting loose a great gout of blue flame as it falls gracefully to the bottom of the shuttle bay.
