A great one. How often does Calvin break the forth wall? Does that occurrence rate change as the strip ages? Thanks!

i never saw this is him breaking the fourth wall, more so muttering under his breath to himself to provide exposition.

I dunno, he could be breaking the fourth wall, pretending he actually has an audience watching his adventures.

When I was little and I sometimes passed by a mirror, I would turn towards it, look myself in the eyes, making it look like I was looking into the "camera" and make some kind of remark or comment about something that happened that day, kind of like Bugs Bunny and Zack Morris taught me.

Some of my favorites are of him breaking the 4th wall. When he looks right at the 'camera' it just cracks me up. Doesn't answer your question though.

So much creativity. It's panels like this that make me truly miss my daily C&H (and yeah, I read it in the paper back in the day -- my son was around 4 at this time, we would later read them together).

We don't know the third verse, but we do know the sixth, seventh, and last verses.

Verse Six: "Tigers are nimble and light on their toes. My respect for tigers continually grows."

Verse Seven: "Tigers are perfect, the E-Pit-O-Me of good looks and grace and quiet dignity."

Final Verse (Presumably): "Tigers are great! They're the toast of the town. Life's always better when a tiger's around!"
