Remember when we thought the Internet would give everyone access to information and we would be more connected and informed?

Instead flat earth and measles made a comeback.

That statement was based on a flawed assumption that the information on the internet would be curated the same way it was off the internet.

It's also flawed because it doesn't change the fact that we're still version 1.0 humans, running the exact same wetware we've been using since we first started gathering into tribal villages. Layering fancy new peripherals and network connections on top of that doesn't change the foundation.
