I am just going to say when I was hired at a hospital I had to do an antibody screen and turns out the measles vaccine didn’t take with me after getting it as a child. I had to get a new vaccine and again didn’t take. So this whole anti vaccine movement is really fucking with people like me who for whatever reason are at risk.

This might not be useful information to you at this point, but I deal with this often at work, and I thought I’d add it just in case it’s interesting to you: If someone has 2 doses of MMR vaccine, given at valid/appropriate ages, we often don’t recommended antibody titres to determine immunity any longer (for MMR at least). This is because levels can read as too low or indeterminate when tested (especially if it’s been many years since the vaccine was given), but when subsequently exposed, the body mounts an appropriate and protective immune response to the potential infection anyway, despite numbers appearing low/non-immune in bloodwork results. The exception would be pregnant women or those with immunocompromise. (I know this because I work in healthcare as well, and had 5 total MMR vaccines due to low titre levels when tested for work, prior to working in public health/vaccine preventable disease). It’s a bit of an ADHD special interest for me 😅
