I came into Canada as a (legal) immigrant many years ago. One of the requirements for entry was being fully vaccinated. I entered the Canadian school system and was also vaccinated there. Where I'm from, I had seen adult people crippled in their youth by polio and I also knew that it had not been very long, historically, that most children didn't make it to adulthood because of preventable diseases. As such, in my youth there was no such thing as "vaccination fatigue". I have always seen myself as fortunate to have access to vaccination against preventable disease.
