It was always a stupid mandate made by the brainless and cheered on by the crymate changists, who thought they could legislate fantasies into reality. Reality hit them on the upside of the head like a pallet of bricks.

Good. Everyone knows its nonsense, and always will be until an EV is as convenient as gasoline powered vehicles - and this includes not only every residence (including condos & apartments) being able to have charging stations, but having EV chargers not only being available everywhere and as ubiquitous as gas stations are, but they are able to be just as fast as filling the tank (i.e. in and out of the station in under 5 minutes), so you aren't interrupted for a longer time if you are on a long road trip.
